A new sense of hope washed over me as we began to work together, making plans to take down Claudia. I had previously thought of asking Bianca for help, but I never in a million years would have thought that the whole pack would become our allies in this fight. Claudia won’t stand a chance against us. Though we’re all confident in our ability to catch and kill this one Vampire, we still have a lot of planning to do to make sure it all goes to plan.
Throughout the meeting, my mind kept drifting to my Mom. I know that I won’t be able to fully focus on this fight until I talk to my Dad, until we lay my Mom to rest. I just have to hope that Claudia doesn’t attack again until I can do that. If anyone else were to get hurt or killed, it would be on my conscience, and I can’t handle that.
