"Kimberly, please go back to your room." I whined. She ignored me and headed in our direction.
"Kimmy," she said and extended her hand for a handshake, making me look at her in disbelief.
Before Caspian could reply, I said, "Kimmy? Kimmy? Since when did you become Kimmy?" I asked incredulously. No doubt she recognized the hot piece of meat in front of her.
"Shut up," she said, her hand still outstretched.
"Caspian Pierce, Kate's significant other," he said, glancing at me through the corner of his eye.
Significant other! I didn't know what to say to that.
