I was so late after a domestic call held us up way longer than expected. I just prayed Lisa would understand and not be mad at me as I arrived in her drive way. I even didn't bother getting changed just hurried straight here. I should of messaged since its gone eleven at night I think to myself turning the car off.
I got out the car and I saw Beth sitting outside.
"Lisa told me to leave a key under the mat because she was convinced you would show up. Me however I wasn't to sure" Beth says as I lock the car.
"I'd never not show up when I say I will" I say as I walk past Beth and walk into the house.
