Chapter 28 what are we?

CHRIS POV

I woke up to feel Lisa tracing her fingers over my body. She is currently tracing over my eyebrows. I don't know why she is doing this, but it tickles and I'm trying to maintain my cover of sleeping to see what Lisa does next. She finger then runs down the side on my face before it then starts to trace my lips line and Lisa keeps tracing it round and round like my lips are a endless circle. After the 8th time of tracing my lips with her finger I gentle took Lisas arm in my hand as I open my eyes and kiss up Lisas finger then the inner palm of Lisas hand, I keep trailing kisses up Lisas hand until I place one on the inner wrist of Lisas hand.

"Next time to trace my lips like that I may end up claiming your lips with my very own" I say while looking Lisa straight in the eyes.

"I was just curious" Lisa says smiling at me.

"Curious of what?" I ask.

"Just curious" Lisa says as I look at the bedside table and see it's already 10:43am.

"We should get up. You need to get ready before we swing by mine so I can get changed and ready. The we need to get the daily gift before we collect Emma for our fun day" I say

"Do we have to get up this moment?" Lisa asks.

"Why? Are you still tired?" I ask.

"No, I just want to enjoy laying here a little while longer of that's okay" Lisa says as she rests her head against my shoulder as she cuddles back into me.

"We can't stay like this a little while longer" I say then I place a kiss on Lisas forehead.

"Why do you always kiss my forehead?" Lisa asks.

"Of you don't like it I can stop" I say quickly.

"I didn't say I didnt like it. Infact I quite like it surprisingly, I'm just curious why" Lisa asks.

"Because I'd much rather kiss your lips and claim your mouth in a passionate kiss but your not ready for that I didn't think. So instead I kiss your forehead" I say honestly.

"What If I wanted you to kiss me like that though but just didn't say?" Lisa asks. I lift Lisas chin gently so she is looking at me and I lean in slowly as I see Lisa hold her breath. I can see she is nervous suddenly

"Then we would be to people wanting the same thing but missing out on something so nice" I say then I place a kiss on Lisas cheek. "Your tell me when your ready even if you don't speak the words" I say before kissing Lisas forehead again the. Gently pulling Lisa closer to cuddle a little longer. I could definitely get use to waking up next to Lisa I think to myself as I smile happily in this moment.

"I think we should try it" Lisa says taking me by surprise

"Why do you think that?" I ask sitting us up so that Lisa is sat across my lap with her legs up on the bed still.

"Well I don't know what this is between us but I think it's um probably becoming more than just dating. So maybe we should try and see what a kiss would be like" Lisa says looking down at her hands.

"This can still be dating if that's what you want. Or we could be a thing, I'd like that if you want that as well. To call you my women I'd be proud to call you that Lisa. But If your not ready to kiss then that's fine as well weather we are together or not" I say before being cut off by Lisa who suddenly kisses me quickly on the lips, as she trys to move away I bring my hands gently to Lisas face cupping her cheek in one hand while one hand gently leans her neck back slightly so I can take control of the kiss. I go slowly as I claim her lips with mine and our tongues start to dance in perfect harmony. Lisa takes so damn good I could kiss her all day long I think to myself.

I feel Lisa wrap her arms around my neck as she moans slightly from this kiss and I know I need to stop this kissing session before she feels my manhood grow and freak out. I slowly bring the kiss to an end then I say "Well, what did you think?"

LISA'S POV

Holy crap, we kissed we actually kissed. I can't believe we kissed. Me Lisa who was sworn off men scared half to death to be touched by a bloke let alone kissed by a bloke kissed Chris Walker and actually loved it I think to myself. I even made the move. Although I actually was aiming for a peck to get a idea of I really wanted to or not. But wow that was something I think to myself.

"Don't keep me In suspense my little fire cracker" Chris says while smiling at me and you can see his eyes twinkling with the smile as well.

I hide my face into Chris's neck feeling shy. I don't know why I feel shy but I do.

"I'd like to call you my man to if it means kissing like that regularly" I say deciding to be brave and bold so long as I hid my face while saying it. As if I'm a child again hiding behind my blanket so people couldn't see me even though I was in plain site.

But then I lose all my thoughts as Chris pulls back slightly, as he uses his hand to make me look at him before he claims my lips again in enougher wonderful passionate kiss. I places my hands on his body as he wraps his arms around me body as he depends the kiss slightly. And damn I feel butterfly's left right and cantre in my stomach dancing as if there in such a hurry. And I'm slightly disappointed when Chris pulls back until he says "Then it's official we are going steady, your my women" Chris says smiling.

"I don't know if I will be any good at ay of this. Hell I'd probably make a rubbish partner but I will try to figure it out" I say resting my head on Chris shoulder.

Chris wraps his arm around my waist as he pulls me closer to him. "I don't care so long as you don't stop being you then your be just perfect to me" Chris says

"Okay, but you what I mean. I still have alot of figuring out to do and things could take time" I say.

"I know that and we can go as slow as you need to. I just don't want you to feel you have to figure things out alone though because I'm right here by your side in and worry or doubts you may have. A relationship isn't just about sharing the good days and good times so lean on me when you need to. Talk things through with me when your confused, worried or anxious I swear I will listen and help the best I can" Chris says.

"I know you will. Even if I couldn't see that my gut feeling says you would as well" I say.

"You're the boss so don't you forget that. What you say goes, when and how. That's all that matters to me, is that you feel ready when your ready for whatever happens" Chris says as he places a kiss on my head again.

"Okay" I say

"You ready to get ready for the day? I have a fun day to put into action" Chris says.

"Definitely, but I still need my crutches" I say.

"I will get them now" Chris says

CHRIS POV

Once Lisa was already in white shorts and a baby pink strappy top for the day. Little black bag over her shoulder hair curled lose making her look as amazing as ever we stopped by mine.

I had a quick shower after giving Lisa a quick tour of my place which she seemed to like. I opted for beach baby blue shorts with a white t-shirt for the day since its really hot outside.

We then stopped by the fire station to collect today's daily gift. Lisa liked it a photo shoot with a local photographer.

I knew Lisa had done the daily update by how suddenly my phone was going off like crazy. I knew I was being tagged in it. I wondered what's Lisa had writtern today but since we were driving into Summer and Seans drive way to collect Emma i had to wait. The house was bigger than Lisas parents house. It was very impressive.

We hadn't even made it out the car before Summer had opened the door and ran towards the car.

"She is about to hug the life out of me. I can see it writtern across her face" Lisa says unbuckling her seat belt.

"Would you like me to save you from such a horrible thing?" I ask laughing.

"No, because then I'd have to save you from being taken down by Summer. She kicks ass as much as I do since Nick and Hahley trained us both the same" Lisa says

"You think I'm scared? Damn I'm a police officer you know?" I say laughing.

Lisa didn't get a chance to reply as the passenger door opened and she was immediately hugged and nearly pulled from her seat by Summer. "Girl you better not hide away from me again otherwise next time I'm going to whopp your ass. Didn't we make a pack that if one us down we are all down?" Summer says.

"You did what I needed by looking after my baby girl. I didn't want her to see me like that. But you know me I come back fighting each time. Now let me breath" Lisa says.

"Mummy" we all hear and I turn to see Emma is running out the door towards us now.

"Hello baby girl, I missed you so much" Lisa shouts towards Emma.

"She missed you like crazy" Summer says quietly.

"Mummy I missed you to" Emma says reaching the car and Summer pick her up so she can hug Lisa quickly. It's definitely a lovely moment to witness a mother and daughters love for each other. "Hey Chris" Summer says.

"Hi" I say.

"Oh, I nearly forgot to say hi to Chris I was so excited to see you mummy. Hi Chris" Emma says.

"That's okay, your mummy should come first anyway. Plus I know your mummy missed you as much as you missed mummy" I say to Emma.

"I missed mummy loads, but you know what else I miss?" Emma says

"What's that?" I ask.

"Sitting in the fire truck" Emma says.

"You like the fire truck better than my police car?" I ask faking hurt.

"Well it's bigger and red is a better colour than boring white" Emma says.

"Well I agree with that. But police car is better than an ambulance right?" I ask.

"I don't know I can't decided which is better the ambulance or police car" Emma says. And Summer and Lisa both laugh at that.

"Well looks like I need to convince you so more then" I say also laughing because kids are brutally honest in there thinking some times.

"Anyway are you coming in or you heading out?" Summer asks.

"That's up to Chris, he seems to be charge of today's plans" Lisa says.

"We are off out. Has Emma had lunch?" I ask.

"Yes she just finished lunch. You going anywhere nice?" Summer asks.

"It's a surprise, so I can't say in front of these lady's otherwise it will spoil it" I say.

"Well in that case Lisa and Emma your have to tell me all about it later" Summer says.

"But can I still come for the BBQ?" Emma asks.

"BBQ?" Lisa asks.

"Last minute plans that Sean and Ryan made this morning. If your not busy later your all welcome to come join us" Summer says.

"Can we? Please mummy?" Emma asks.

"Your have to ask Chris if we will be finished our fun plans by then" Lisa says.

"Chris? We can go right? You like BBQ as well please?" Emma says.

"Don't worry we will be done with the surprise before the BBQ and if that's where you and mummy want to be I will make sure to have you here in plenty of time" I say.

"In that case BBQ it is" Lisa says.

"Brilliant I will see you all later then, that includes you as well Chris and no doubt tye boys will be drinking so bring a over night bag we have plenty of spare rooms" Summer says.

"Oh you don't have to do that" I say.

"No I insist, after all you look after our girl so well it's the least we can do in making sure you don't have to worry about getting home safe" Summer says.

"Trust me no use in arguing with Summer. I learnt that a long time ago" Lisa says.

"Okay, looks like we will be swinging by mine again later" I say.

"Okay, well I will head back in. You all have a good day now" Summer says.

"Bye" Lisa and Emma

"see ya later" I say before turning towards Lisa and Emma. "Okay let's get you all settled in the back seat" I say to Emma. Then I get out the car to go round and get Emma as Emma says "Aww you give me a clue where we are going?".

As I reach the passenger door I pick Emma up and say "How about if you guess the plans we are doing I will tell you. If not then you have to keep guessing".

"Okay, but you have to give me one hint" Emma says as I put her in the back seat.

"Yeah I want a hint as well. I'm so playing along to this game" Lisa says.

"Okay lady's one hint" I say as I strap Emma in.

"Quick what's the hint, I want to beat mummy in finding out" Emma says.

"It's so much fun!" I say then I close the door. Lisa winds down her window and says "Well that's not much of a hint!" and I can't help laughing as I walk round to the drivers door.

"Well that's all your getting. I didn't say it would be a good hint" I say say getting into the car.

"It's true mummy, he didn't say it would be a good hint. But he still gave us a hint even if it's a bad one" Emma says and I can see she has her thinking face on with the rear view mirror as I strap myself back in.

"Okay, how about you take the first guess" lisa says to Emma.

"The ball pit" Emma says as I start the car.

"No" I say

"But that's fun" Emma says.

"It is fun but it's not where we are going" I say.

"Cinema" Lisa says.

"No guess again" I say as we start driving away from Summer and Seans home.

"The beach" Emma says.

"No, try again" I say

"The zoo?" Lisa asks but not sounding to convinced.

"No guess again" I say.

"The park" Emma says sounding hopeful.

"Not the park either" I say.

"I don't know then" Emma says.

"Well keep thinking of fun things" I say encouragingly.

"For ice cream" Lisa asks.

"No, but I think you can buy ice cream where we are going if you want some" I say.

"Yes, ice cream sounds good" Emma shouts as Lisa says "Ice cream is always good".

"You can tell your mum and daughter" I say laughing.

"I know. Anyway is it some kind of theme park?" Lisa asks

"No, I didn't think bumpa cars would be wise" I say laughing

"Ha, ha very funny" Lisa says yet she is laughing herself and I can't help laughing more.

"I know it's build a bear isn't it?" Emma says sounding even more excited.

"No it's not" I say

"Then how about swimming?" Emma asks.

"No, your mum can't swim with her foot I. Cast Emma so that wouldn't be a fun thing to do for your mum" I say

"The circus? At least I think there in the city at the moment" Lisa says

"No, they were here last week" I say

"Then I'm out of ideas" Lisa says.

"We will be there soon" I say

"Is it one of those places you have to walk around and look at weird things. You know mum where we have to be quiet and it's so boring! Where uncle Ryan took me before?" Emma says

"A museum? Is that what your on about Emma?" Lisa asks.

"Yes, one of those places because there not fun" Emma says and I can't help laughing as I say "Don't you worry your sweet little head it's not a museum and it's definitely not a quiet place".

"That a clue there mum it's not quiet!" Emma says

"I think your onto something there Emma. Why don't you keep guessing and you seem to get more clues out of Chris. Then we can both play detective and work out the clues to and puzzle them together to get our answer" Lisa says.

"That's a good idea mum" Emma says.

"So you think your be a good detective Emma?" I ask

"Yeah" Emma says sounding very confident

"With mummy's help I'm sure she can figure it out" Lisa says.

"In that case how about I give you clues and you see if you can work it out that way?" I say

"Okay what's the clues?" Emma asks.

"Okay next clue is you need arm muscles do you have muscles?" I ask.

"I can lift my dolls house so I have muscles" Emma says making me and Lisa laugh.

"That's good then so detective Emma have you any idea where we are going now?" I ask.

"The gym like uncle Sean and Ryan to get muscles?" Emma says.

"Not the gym" I say

"What's other clues do you have?" Emma says

"It's some kind of game where we have to try and beat each other by getting as many points as possible" I say

"Is it football?" Emma asks.

"No" I say.

"I think I know and if its the place I think we are going I'm not using the thing they have for kids to use" Lisa says

"Where are we going mummy?" Emma asks.

"You should think of a fake that knocks down things in a ally with balls Emma. We go there sometimes look out at where we are" Lisa says and I know Lisa has figured it out and I just smile while going "hmm mmm".

After a minute or so Emma shouts "Is it bowling?"

"Yes, your such a very good little detective Emma" I say

"yes" Emma says excitedly.

"Don't worry we figured the boxing session out so I figured bowling would be a walk in the park. I don't mind being your walking stick again keep you up" I say.

"You do make a good walking stick" Lisa says

"I'm glad to be of service" I say laughing.

LISA'S POV

Once we arrived Chris carried Emma into the bowling complex while I hobbled my way in. Chris then booked us in for three games of bowling and made sure we had the lane nearest as possible to the toilets claiming it would be easier on me and Emma that way. I made sure mine and Emma's bladders where empty before we even started our first game. We came back to drinks and snack on the table. The music was loud as always and Emma was super excited to get started.

Chris had already set up the kids ramp and had it put in place the side bars up for each time Emma played a game.

"Okay Emma pick your bowling ball and I shall carry it over for you" Chris says as I take a seat.

"This one" Emma says pointing to the pink ball and Chris pick it's up and places it on the ramp.

I watch as Chris stands next to Emma giving her advice and he moves the ramp at Emma's request slightly. It's nice watching them interact with each other. You can tell there is no effort needed on any of there behalf they generally just like each other and get on well. I watch as the ball goes down the alley and takes out 5 bowling pins.

"Yay, go Emma!" I shout over the music.

"half down half to go Chris" Says encouragingly as he high fives Emma.

"I bet me and mummy can't do as good as you" Chris then says as he goes to get the bowling ball for Emma yet he winks at me at the same time.

"I don't know broken leg or not I reckon I can still win" I say laughing.

"I'm going to win mummy, just you watch and see" Emma says as she pushes the bowling ball of the ramp and it goes down knocking down three more bowling pins. Chris and Emma immediately high five with Emma shout "Yes"

"well done baby girl" I shout.

"Thanks mummy" Emma Says as she comes to sit down at same timeChris moves the ramp to the side.

"It's your turn now mummy" Emma says.

"That's right Emma it us mummy's turn. Let's get you up and your bowling ball" Chris says walking over to me holding his hands out to help me up. I take his hands and stand up saying "So how we going to make this work then?".

"It's simple my little fire cracker we shall have you hopping your way over with my support then you can us your free arm to bowl that bowling ball down the bowling ally" Chris Says as he wraps a arm around my waist at the side and I insintky hoop my arm around his neck.

"Okay let's give it a go" I say as we make our way to the get a bowling ball
