Chapter Thirty-Nine

1550 Words

Celeste's POV I woke up at seven. I was dreading having to get up and go to school. I did it anyway. Matt had already texted me and let me know that he was waiting for me. These guys drive out of their way to meet me here. I could always drive to them and meet them somewhere closer. I'm thankful they take my safety as seriously as Isaac does. I looked at my calendar quickly. I chose December seventeenth. It gives us five days. I don't know if I'll see Isaac on my way out, but I'm hoping. I just needed to drop the date. I'm sure he will figure out why. I was out of my room by seven thirty. The whole point of staying in the city five days a week was so I wouldn't have to get up this early. My first class isn't until ten thirty. Ugh. As I exited the front door, I didn't see Isaac anywhere.
