I stood by Ayira trying to calm her. These rogues bowed down to her, not me. We are both Alphas, her power is evidently increased. By what, by fear? Anger for attacking her mate? If Ayira was this powerful, what could Celeste do?
"Ayira, you need to bring Celeste back. They are bowing to you. I don't think they will harm us now." She shook her head.
Goddess, she's as stubborn as Celeste. Looking down at me once more, then back to the rogues, she left to shift behind a tree.
