I can't believe that just happened. That mob thinks I was in jail for having s*x with Celeste when she was a minor. Don't get me wrong, I felt something for her that I purposely ignored because she was a minor. That pack had no idea how close they were to being homeless. If the Elders knew about Alpha Clark's involvement they would most likely become rogues. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. I drove in silence out of the territory. I felt Celeste's eyes burning holes in me, but I just wasn't ready to talk about anything. I was elated that Celeste pushed me to become what I was always meant to be. A new life where I don't have to really answer to anyone. This may sound strange, but I feel stronger, wiser, and I feel I can take on the world. I'm ready to build my life with C
