“Angela is running ten minutes behind. Is that okay?” A perky blonde receptionist asked. I nodded and felt the butterflies in my stomach flutter around even more. I’d gotten the call for a second interview with Angela Shiflett, who was in charge of human resources for the Virginia Opera and Richmond Symphony. I glanced around the waiting area, wishing the interview could be over with already. For the first time in what seemed like forever I felt confident.
