Riley POV:
I watched as Wolf dropped to the ground, I felt Star shake me as if from a trance and then only did I inhale sharply.
I watched in shock as Cole, Dax and James run towards him. He stayed in his wolf form which was weird as usually when a wolf was injured he changed back to human. Something was wrong, my mind raced with possibilities, if only I could get my legs to work. I willed myself to walk towards him.
I hunched next to him, and stroked his fur with my hand, his breathing was shallow, but in knew he felt my presence with him when he tried to get up.
Star quickly moved towards him “Stay still Wolf, we don’t want to help the poison along”
He did as she said and dropped his head back down.
Star immediately took charge “Take him to the room at the top of the stairs”
