Friday morning I arose at 7am to get ready for my trip. My flight was at 10am and I needed to be at the airport two hours before departure time.
I dress in ankle lenght black jeans and paired it with a white long sleeve high neck blouse. I put my hair in my usual long plait, hanging down my back and pull on my two inch black heel leather boots.
I apply more make up than usual, as I wanted to look older. I winged tip my eyes, then applied thick black mascara which made my jade green eyes pop. Slight freckles dotted my face as usual and my ruby red lipstick finished the look.
My weekend bag was packed the night before, with all the necessities needed for the trip. The Wrights hadn't make a fuss that, I was going on my own or at the short notice.
I guess they were used to their daughter Anna frequent trips and disappearance acts. What they didn't know was, this was my first solo trip.
I ate a light breakfast and Mrs. Wright drove me to the airport. The drive took us half-an- hour. We spend the time chatting about school and clothes, during the drive to occupy the time.
I tried not to get myself worked up by it, but my nerves were getting worse the closer, I got to leaving.
The intimidating airport terminal, appears huge in sight. Mrs. Wright pulls up at the departure section and we said our goodbyes.
This plane ride took approximately 5 hours to fly me from California to Columbus, Ohio.
We landed at 3pm and exited the plane pulling my carryon case behind me.
I searched for a taxi outside and after about ten minutes I finally found one to take me to Drury Inn.
I barely notice my surroundings, as I was deep in a haze of my own making. This happen sometimes when I was getting a panick attack. I never suffered from them before, but since the incident, I suffered from them now.
This was the only way to calm me down to earth. It was sort of an mediate technique I use. I snapped out of my haze to the voice of my driver saying.
"Miss we are here."
The taxi was was stopped infront of a three story building with a sign which said Drury Inn.
I paid the driver and got out the taxi, he help me with my suitcase towards the entrance. The glass panel doors opened for me and I entered the building, walking towards reception and checked inn.
My room was in a delightful design, shades of blue and pink. The bed seem comfortable with its rose sheets and the bathroom was a decent size.
I took a quick shower and put on a yellow flowers sun dress and order some food. I pack away my clothes in the closet as I wait for the food.
I texed the Wrights to let them know that I had arrived safe.
A knock on the door let me know that dinner was here. I open the door and the male server stood there, he wheeled the food into the room on a trolley. I tipped him then he left closing the door behind him.
I was hungry and the food smelled delisheous. I ate my mini pizza and green salad. Finishing, I wheeled the food trolly out into the corridor and left it there, as instructed by the server before he left.
I planned on scopping out the place before showing up. I didn't even know if it was legit or a scam. I wanted to be careful as I was in a strange town alone
Feeling exhausted, I decide to take a short nap and explore the area later.
