The witch gave me a look over but it wasn’t required as Storm used her healing to stop the bleeding and she started to slowly close the bullet holes. I actually enjoy being in control every now and then. Storm, Tempest and I all share one body and feel each others emotions. This night is no different as we all have a bad feeling. "Vitani, I think you should stay in control for now. The air isn't right." I agreed but I walked outside collapsing on the grassy hillside, letting the tears flow.
Wolves started to gather, laying down around me. They howled to the moon and stars letting others know of what happened, more wolves then joined in adding to the sad song. My body stopped the dam from breaking again. Although it was faint I could hear and feel them, one sword was crying the other was howling with the wolves.
A little while later, I realized that I was being held, refocusing on my surroundings, I heard and seen happy yelps and playful fighting. I looked up and saw Leon smiling and laughing but he was watching me, gauging if I needed healing. I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him hard. He was careful of my stomach as it was almost healed but he hugged me back and whispered thank you.
I swear he winked at one of the still shifted wolves because I got wolf-piled by hundreds of wolves, being playful and killer was on top smirking down at me while I was struggling to get out of the damn wolf pile. It took me about two hours to get out from under the pile of sleeping wolves. A hand appeared in my face I looked up to Shane offering to help me out, taking his hand, he pulled a little too hard causing me to land on him. He smiled while speaking," Hi princess. How are you girls doing." I smiled and said " Just fine, having a bit of an issue of sleeping wolves as you can see. My swords would love to have another go with you. "
Shane is a tiger shifter of a rare genetic coloring. And last of its kind unless he can find his life partner. His tiger is black with white stripes and his eyes are an ice blue with haunting gold flecks in them. Its rumored that his blue eyes is a sign of royalty but no one had an true idea. Shane in his human form is 6ft 2in tall with golden brown curly hair that barely reached his shoulders. Skin that bronzed to a light chocolate color naturally of course. His eyes were an offset gold with black flecks in them.
He smiled at that comment and a gentle purr. Hearing him purr made me want to scratch behind his ear. I laughed as he started to roar when I felt it . The ground shaking and a distant rumbling of a herd of bulls. Shane shifted then let a loud and deafening roar. It shook the house and deep in my body. Calling my swords awake and appearing on either side of me. I was going for blood, food, and to end the fight quickly, I wasn’t in the mood to play with these dumbass bull shifters.
I almost had a warlock/human for a snack awhile ago, his blood smelled like a sugar cane. Shane and I got ready to butt heads with the bulls. Shane's tiger was strong as an elephant and able to keep pace with a vampire elder. His roar called for family and friends to help fight this stampede. My family, friends and I rose to meet the stampeding herd head on. We would have been fine if it was them and only them, but it wasn't, we were doomed. The field was annihilated.
Someone wanted us here and slaughter every last one of us. Someone wanted us to this part of the town. Someone had targeted my family, friends, I'm not happy.
We gathered our dead, giving them a proper burial. Shane carved out a headstone for each and everyone of them. It took a while too even with the help of the werewolves digging holes for the stones and helping polishing them. I was helping the injured witch as she was heavily injured in the fight.
With the earth around her house destroyed and her injures weighing on her, she needed help with healing.
While helping her I was trying to figure out what was going on. The surviving bulls ran, before getting a chance to comprehend what was happening, a boulder was coming out of nowhere. Somehow someone had launched a boulder into the middle of the fight.
Somebody got far enough to actually spot the cannons and catapults next to an undead army. Zombies not vamps. Zombies are mindless and useless creatures that only a very powerful necromancer can get any actual work or decent actions out of them and there was a powerful one nearby. A lot of warriors died trying to destroy them. I spent defending them from the zombie. I got a dislocated shoulder, several bites that can't effect a dead vampire.
Leon and Shane were trying to kill as many as they can. We lost so many on our side but we were wiping them out as well. I'm going to look deeper into this messy threat.
