Freedom for an Angel

Chapter Two

I was stunned but happy. Mom and dad are alive. Leon knocked while opening the door. "Come on out, someone's here to.." He trailed off when he saw my face then asked why I was so happy. I said nothing but handed him the letter anyway. I watched him get to the bottom of the letter and awaited to see his reaction. His face lit up, looking up at me, he said "Come on there's someone waiting for you and they are going to make you even happier. The writing is moms for sure, Lies but don't go running off to find them alone ok." He pulled my hair as I went to pass him and I fell backward into him and he whispered "I miss them too, Storm. They would be so proud of you for being so strong. You know that right and I'm proud of you too. I love you." He kissed my forehead before letting me go out to the bar and see who was asking for me. It was the guy who fixed the hole in the wall after my brawl with my ex-boyfriend when he attempted to kill wolf and failed poorly.

Earlier that year.

I was getting home from work when there came a yowl (my cats) and hisses then came a loud roar and my ex came flying out of my room. I stood there watching and waiting. A big tiger, big black panther and a wolf that is black and silver with patches of red came out of my room as they did, they all froze when they caught my scent, they then backed down. Killer spoke to me and boy did it piss me off. " Very sorry Storming Lies but he was stealing from you. We attempted to stop him. Unfortunately he's very strong for a human boy.

I looked at him, smiling which caused Killer to turn away heading up to his floor of our three story house. The noise he and my cats were making was a lot. It made me wonder how much soundproofing was.

I looked at Jose while speaking, " Spill it and leave nothing out."

He started the story of how we met, threw other crap in there, it was at the end that caused the damn fight. He said " I was here looking for a place to hide this ring. So I could propose but your brother said I couldn't because of what I do when I'm not with you." Watching him while he was speaking, I saw a smirk come across his thin vile lips. Closing my eyes Vitani shortly appeared so we could figure out his intentions and he was lying. Vitani faded quickly before our hair could change as that was our biggest give away for our biggest secret. With my eyes still closed I spoke firmly, " Get out of my house now and never return." He went to punch me. That made my day bad.

I was happy after a nice day catching one of the most wanted criminals and got a nice hefty profit for it but he ruined it.

Bastard

I grabbed his hand, threw him against the wall without opening my eyes. When he collided into the wall, I opened my faded green eyes and watched him stand up. He started speaking angrily " I was the best thing that ever happened and you shouldn’t have said what I did." He meant all of it. He didn’t know that my parents were dead.

He just thought I was living with my brother to get away from them and that I was a nobody. I said " You don’t know anything about me. Get it. Got it. Good." I slowly closed my eyes then slowly opened them, showing my bad side. He has never seen my bad side before. My eyes changed from faded green to a deep blue and my hair changed to a deep red with black streaks.

My lips deepen into a nice shade of red. My vampire soul inside Vitani was hungry and very upset with him for going after our brother. She's also upset that she had to come out. My fangs extended at the smell of a human. I smiled at him. His eyes went wide in shock and horror.

Vitani used her mind control to see his thoughts. He was thinking that " Its not possible, it can't be. She was gentle and so small. I must be dreaming." I was so tired that when I heard his thoughts I started laughing. My laughing caught him by surprised and he thought I was crazy. To be honest though I found anything funny when I'm tired. But I am breath taking to him which is not surprising. I made my swords appear and I pulled them out of their sheath. Pointing them at his throat I spoke " Get out now or I will cut your throat but I am starving so I might as a well kill you."

With that he ran out the door. I dropped my swords and they reappeared in their sheaths all happy and tired. Lazy asses. I let them go causing them to disappearing into thin air. I figured he called the cops so I got everything hidden in a secret room up in the attic. The door hidden at least. Vitani and Storming Lies switched back before they came here. I called Leon down, told him what was happening and just let them search the house.

The tiger and black panther returned to normal looking house cats. The cops showed up but I was asleep. I was rudely awakened by shouting and shaking. It was an officer that I extremely despised a lot. He asked me questions, ones that had nothing to do with me at all but a damn robbery. Nothing got resolved that day so they left.
