I got home at 12pmand decided to take a nap.

I had to rest my mind.I washed down and went downstairs to prepare lunch.After eating, I went to take a nap.....

it was around 6:00pm when I woke up.i slept for more than 4 hours??? I was tired from the sleep as well, so I went to the kitchen and made a quick pasta. After eating, I decided to text theo

I haven't heard from him, and I must admit I have been expecting a notification from him.

"Hey,how are you doing today?" I texted

[After thirty(30) minutes,there was no reply from him]

"There is something I wanted to tell you, but later"i added

I was bored so I started flipping through channels on the television till I found a series.

I stayed awake throughout the night thinking about what happened earlier .I couldn't sleep because of the nap I took.The vibration of my phone distracted my thoughts.I checked and it was Theo,I could not help but feel excited and a bit annoyed.Why was he now texting? Did he....? well.

"why are you now replying "I asked

" busy? or you went after your high school crush?" I asked

"Jealous?"he asked

"Jealous? of who? and why? don't be silly " I retorted

"Alright you are not" he replied

"So why are you now replying then?"

" I was busy with some stuff"he replied

"we keep secrets now?"I asked a bit annoyed

"it is not a secret"he said

"whatever"

[I narrated everything that happened at my family's house to him]

"Angel, let me see a picture of you"he replied

"why?no let's keep things the way they are now,besides you might fall for me if you see my picture"i said

" I don't mind falling for you or maybe I already have"he said

"Excuse me?" I asked,my cheeks warming up

"exactly what you read" he replied

"waiting for the picture" he added

"Just a second,you would send yours afterwards " I said

"sure"he replied

It took me six minutes to get a "perfect picture" for him. It was a selfie picture "

I sent the picture to him and it took a whole 3 minutes before he replied

I was nervous, was the picture not nice for him.From his background, he has surely met more beautiful girls than I am

"is that really you?" I tensed up at his question

"yes,why?" I asked nervously

he did not reply

I texted again "answer me,what is wrong,you are making me nervous"i said

I waited for 30 minutes there was still no reply

I decided to sleep and stop thinking about what his reason was to start acting this way

I don't have friends.I have always been a loner.I always suck my pain in.There is no one to share my pain with.Not even my mom.Theo is the only person I talk to,share my pains with and I am not ready to lose him.

I sobbed till I fell asleep

I woke up late than the usual

I took a week break from work after the surprise planned by the staff. Nessa assured to take care of everything and inform me if there's anything important.

I took my phone to check if there was any information from Theo

there was no message from him, which made me sad

throughout the day,I kept checking my phone, yet not even a hello from him.

I received a phone call from Nessa. There is

probably something important.

"Madam, are you home? please turn on your television and listen to the news circulating"

it displayed dad,mom, and Jane at the company with reporters buzzing them with questions.

the reporter asked, "So this is your legitimate daughter?"

"Yes,and my eldest daughter"dad said

"Mr. Frank Roy,so who is Angel Roy to you?"The reporter asked.

"Jane got missing after birth.To comfort my wife, I brought Angel as a stand in.We found Angel galavanting and took her through the legal process to adopt her.We provided her with everything.Everything, yet she repaid us with nothing.She left home after she could fend for herself.She does not acknowledge us anymore.We are pronouncing her sister as the new manager of the company starting from today.Angel has no share in the company anymore, she already broke ties with us " he elucidated

my mouth dropped open.Mom did not say anything,just there listening to dad while Jane kept on crying.

Theo texted "Angel RoySend me your location now!!"
