Cooper was a well behaved , family friendly and energetic dog . He adopted to his new surroundings in a short amount of time , Austin and I brought a lot of stuffed toys , balls and other things for him to play . There were so many things spread around in the whole house , so we decided that we will give him a separate room the room which I used on Austin’s birthday was empty so we converted it into Cooper’s personal room . We decorated the room with cooper’s photos , we bought a small cupboard for his clothes ( which I bought everyday and was crazy about ) and all of his toys were put there , he looked quite happy and was jumping around in the whole house . Cooper’s presence filled our house with sounds of laughter and joy that little soul was always moving around the house sometimes in the garden . We both spend hours playing with him and never gets tired , he made our house a complete home . Although he made the house a mess like breaking a vase , scratches on the couch , getting the floor dirty after coming back from the garden , but we loved him and we were learning how to train him eventually . He was quite quick in learning new things , he soon learned that he needs to rub his feet on the mat before coming inside the house , and that he doesn’t have to pee on the couch or he will he scolded and other stuff . We took him to the park every day where he ran freely and played as he wants , we normally removed his collar whenever we took him to the park because he never disturbed any strangers and never go anywhere out of our sight . He was like our child , we were like a loving , happy small family . He also started understanding some words like whenever we said “ park ” , he started jumping and got excited , whenever we said “ treat ” he immediately brings his bowl and sit patiently . We also came to know about a dog park near our house where many people bring their pets so we also decided to bring Cooper there , maybe he can make some new friends  and have fun . So one day we took him to that park , at first he was quite shy and didn’t made any friends but slowly he started opening up and by the end of the first day , he had made some new friends and was enjoying with them all the time . Now every day he was excited for just one thing i.e. the dog park . Once I remember that it was raining heavily so Austin came to and said “ we won’t be able to go to that dog park today , it is raining heavily so no one would be coming there , we have to think about something to distract him “ I knew that it would really make him sad “ okay “ I said to him . So the best way to keep him busy was television so we switched it on and changed the channel to his favourite cartoon . He was sitting still and watching it carefully but after some time he seemed to have noticed that it was time to go to the park , he started jumping on the couch but when none of us reacted he sat on my lap and started staring into my eyes “ Cooper it is raining outside so today we can’t go to the park “ I said holding is small head in my hands and he started making some sounds as if he understands what is going on and still insisting me to go there “ no Cooper you really can’t go there , I am sorry but today you have to stay in the house “ , he gets off my lap and goes to his room we both followed him and he started throwing his tantrums . He would sit facing the wall in one corner of the room like a spoiled child and no matter how much we called him , he wouldn’t listen we tried to please him with toys and treats but he was adamant but after some time it was time for his meal which of course he wouldn’t forget he immediately went and got his bowl “ you still want your meal ? “ I asked him and he barked all happily as if nothing had happened and we both laughed . This is all I want a complete family so I decided to go on a trip with Austin and Cooper and confess to Austin that I want him to be with me for the rest of our lives .

Many days passed , I was searching for a place where the three of us can go for a vacation it took me some time but I found a perfect place that is Oleta River State Park it is considered as Florida’s largest urban park , it is ideal for kayaking, biking, hiking, swimming and camping some people also go their for their marriage ceremony there couldn’t be a better place for my confession . It was afternoon , Cooper was sleeping in his room and we both were solving on of the puzzles that Austin bought for me at the hospital , we were solving and also talking so I initiated the talk about a vacation

 “ Austin it has been such a long time after coming from the hospital but since then we are always at home . Why don’t we go somewhere for a vacation ? “ I asked with excitement , 

he looked up from the puzzle “ why do you want to go on a vacation suddenly ? “ 

“ it’s not suddenly , we have been at this house for almost a year now and I am getting really bored “

“ okay , well the idea of a vacation sounds good to me but we have to decide on where to go . Do you have any suggestions ? “

“ Yes definitely I have , I think that we can go to Oleta River State Park although I don’t know much about this place but it has a lot of things to do like hiking it also has facility of water sports , it also air conditioned cabins where people can stay and it also has beautiful nature friendly environment “ I said all of this in just one breath 

“ you said that you don’t know much about this place and yet you have been speaking about it without breathing “ I looked down out of a little embarrassment he laughed and started petting my head and said “ alright we will go there decide the dates and tell me when to start the packing okay ?“ , I jumped out of happiness “okay ! you are the best . I will go right away and start planning ” saying this I went inside my room .

For the next one week we planned our vacation and the things we have to take there . We finally set off to the park on Monday in our car , it was 3hrs away from our house although I suggest Austin to get a driver but his obsession towards his car declined it . I was sitting on the front seat , Cooper at the back and Austin driving we played music on high volume and were vibing on it together we also brought some snacks to eat in the car we were having a great time with each other . We finally reached our destination at 7 in the evening it was already getting dark . We parked the car in the parking area and came out of the car quite tired and exhausted , we went to the entrance and asked the receptionist about our cabin which we have booked she took us with her and we went inside the park , it was quite dark so we couldn’t see clearly it felt like walking in a jungle but soon we saw light which were lightning the way , we headed forward and soon we saw some houses , the receptionist guided us to one of them and said to us “ this is your cabin , enjoy and have a nice time here “ and then she left . we went inside the house and were quite surprised by what it looked like , when we looked at it from outside it was looking like an old house made of wood which would not have any modern appliance in it , but when we opened the door and went inside we found out that it was a well equipped room with tube lights , air conditioner and all the other basic things although it didn’t have a kitchen and a bath room because there were many restaurants and hotels nearby for food and there was a central restroom with hot showers on the grounds . Well Austin was the one who booked the rooms and he booked only one because there was just one left this what he said . The room had one wooden double bed , a wooden cupboard , a lamp , a table with four chairs , a white sofa set and a beautiful blue curtains on the 2 windows . Although it was not a very big cabin but it had all the things one needed in everyday life . “ Lets organize our clothes in the cupboard “ I said and started unpacking my stuff but Austin looked a little confused and was staring at the bed at first I couldn’t understand anything but then I realized that we reserved only one room and there was only one bed in our room so we will have to share it “ I will go and ask at the reception if there are any other rooms left “ he said and turned back to leave but I held his hand and stopped him from going “ let it be . We will adjust in one bed and you were the one who told me that this was the only one left so they probably wouldn’t be having ant more left . I am comfortable with if you don’t mind “ he remained silent for a moment but then nodded his head “ I don’t mind as long as you are comfortable “ we both smiled and arranged our things in the cupboard we put Cooper’s bed on one side of the room . We were both tired and didn’t wanted to do anything except sleeping so we both lied on one side of the bed and switched off the light . There was complete silence in the room , we both were not moving Cooper has also fallen asleep I could feel the awkward and uneasiness in the air , although I was quite comfortable around him but still it felt a bit weird sleeping next to him . At first we both were a bit uneasy and were turning over and over again but we were tired so I don’t when I fell asleep . the next I remember was that it was morning , sunlight was piercing through the thin curtains and getting directly into my eyes , I was still feeling asleep and therefore I shut my eyes again and tried to sleep but then getting back to my senses I felt something under my head so I opened my eyes immediately , I realized that I was sleeping in Austin’s arms he had both of his hands wrapped around me , it felt very nice I have to have my day started like this everyday with him by my side and I in his arms , although I was completely awake I decided to lay there and cherish this moment a little longer . I went to take a shower at the restroom near by , without waking up Austin he has been driving yesterday for the whole time he must be really tire or there wouldn’t be a chance that I woke up before him Cooper was also awake so I took him with me or else he would have disturbed Austin .

After I came back , 

Austin was already awake “ you are awake ? good morning “ I said 

“ good morning , why didn’t you wake me up before going out ? “ 

“ you looked tired therefore I thought it would be better for you to sleep a little longer “

And cooper as usual obsessed with Austin jumped over on the bed and started liking his face “ yes Cooper we will go out and have fun “ he said “ I will go and take a bath till then you can get dressed and then we can go out and have fun , right Cooper ? “ he started petting Cooper,  yes he is like that although he was talking to me a moment ago but now he is playing with Cooper , Austin is obsessed with him they both can’t be separated from each other even for a moment whenever Austin went out for some work Cooper would wait for him and sit by the window looking out all the time till he returns and as soon as he returns Cooper would jump over him and lick him as if they have been away from each other for years . 

It was our first official day at the park and according to our plan the first thing that we will be doing today is fishing , the fishing rod  and the fish baits can be rented there , so we took 2 rods and went there , we set the two fishing rods , attached the bait to them , left them there and laid on the comfortable chairs looking at the clear beautiful sky it was a sunny day but the location of the chairs were such that we didn’t have to face direct sunlight . It has been only 10 mins since we came here and my fishing rod started shaking a little “ I caught a fish I caught a fish hurry up pull it up pull it up “ I started jumping , Austin got hold of the fishing rod and pulled the fish up , it was a nice big fish yes I was the first one to get a fish “ see I told you before , I am a lucky charm “ it was my first time catching a fish and that too a big one I was very much excited “ yes yes I know you are a lucky charm “ Austin said laughing not long after this Austin also got a fish which was almost the same size as of mine but a little shorter ( I always have to be the best ) . And after some time we have collected quite a lot of fishes so we stopped fishing , it was afternoon , and we ate some sandwiches as our lunch there and then went to the picnic spots were there were many benches and also grills , we had fishes and grills so we did barbecuing , it was such a nice whether the sun was gone , cool wind was blowing ,  Austin was cooking food  , Cooper was quite happy because he found a new stick and was carrying it everywhere he go . After some time the fishes were cooked and we had a delicious meal  everything there was perfect we were sitting on the bench and looking at the beautiful sea , after sitting there for a while we went back to our cabins . The couple who were staying in the cabin next to us also had a pet dog whose name was max , Cooper and max seemed to have become friends , they both always got excited whenever they see each other so we decided that we will take both of them to the park and let them play there . Austin was always careful when Cooper played with any other dog because we know Cooper is a silent and non aggressive dog so there are chances that other dogs can hurt him although max was a nice dog and we didn’t have to worry much . We didn’t talk to max’s owners much they looked a little reserved and we didn’t want to disturb them so while max and cooper were playing , Austin and I were sitting on a bench near by and watching him , everything there was so peaceful air was clean , there was no noise and most importantly it was covered with trees which made the environment even more merrier , after some time cooper was done playing and was quite tired so we went back to our cabin , Austin carried Cooper in his arms . 

The next I got up quite late , we had nothing to do that day so we went to walk around and discover this beautiful city . The central location and easy access have made North Miami Beach one of South Florida's best known regional shopping areas and one of it’s most popular sites for office users therefore it was impossible that I come so far and not buy anything . The three of us set out and were discovering the city we bought many things like clothes , home decor , perfumes , watches , makeup etc. . Soon it was afternoon and the three of us were completely exhausted from walking all over the place and hungry since we haven’t had anything after breakfast,  therefore we went into a restaurant where we requested for a private room  and luckily we got one . we lied on the sofa and kept all the shopping bags at one side of the room , none of us had the energy to move now I just wanted to eat and rush back to the cabin and sleep , soon a waitress entered the room “ what would you like to have ? “ she asked politely . “ I would …” I was about tell her the dishes I wanted when Austin interrupted me “ she would like to have a Cuban Sandwich and key lime pie and for me , I would like to have chicharron  and meat stuffed Arepas , thank you “ she noted everything and then left . Austin knows everything about me even the dishes I like and prefer I think that my feelings are not one sided maybe he still has feelings for me and feel the same way for me as I feel for him and after all why would a person care so much about someone if he doesn’t love her . Although I wasn’t sure if he had a relationship in all these years when he was away or is there someone whom he likes right now I had to know the answer to all these questions before I make a confession . 

“ So Austin have you ever been in a relationship after you left ? “ I asked 

“ why do you ask about it all of a sudden ? “

“ it’s not all of a sudden , I want to know about you you never tell me clearly about where have you been or what you did but atleast you can tell me about this “

“ okay I will tell you it’s no big deal . No I was never in any relationship in all these years “

“ oh okay “ , I was smiling internally 

“ so do you have a girlfriend now ? “

“ Carol what kind of a silly question is that . I have been living in your house for more than a year now , I don’t meet many people , have you ever seen me talking to any girl in such a way hat you think she might be my girlfriend ? come on carol if I had a girlfriend you would have surely seen her . I can’t understand what has gotten into you that you are talking about senseless things “ well I guess he was right , am I stupid ? if he had a girlfriend I must have seen her atleast once 

“ yes that’s right , so do you like someone at present ? do you have a crush on anyone ? “ I asked looking straight into his eyes , he looked at me for a moment and then turned to Cooper “ everyone in this world likes someone , right cooper ? , Yes I like someone and it’s cooper my baby “ he started playing with Cooper , he understood it quite well about what was I talking about but still didn’t gave me a clear answer , I started doubting my decision of confessing to him , what if he rejects it , does he really like me ? and if he does , is he willing to spend the rest of his life with me ? . Just a moment ago I was sure about my decision but now felt too confused . Well anyway the food was here , we all were hungry so started eating and finished it within no time and went to the cabins by the time we reached there it was already dark so we went to bed directly .
