ISAAC CADWELL HAS ANNOUNCED TO THE PUBLIC THAT HE’S TRULY THE FATHER OF JUDYS’ CHILD.
That headline stared back at me like a curse.
When I saw it.. when I saw his smug face on the screen, lying!
I froze…
I couldn’t speak or think or scream even.
Then—
“f**k you!!”
My voice tore right out of lungs. I threw the glass of champagne in my hand to the hall.
“Manipulator!”
The reporters were buying it.. they were falling for his petty lies.
This was his plan.. his power play, right?
“You arrogant—“
I cut myself off.
Crashing out like this wouldn’t change anything, I didn’t waste time picking up my phone, dialing his number with my trembling fingers.
After a few rings… he answered.
“Judy.”
He answered like that.. so casual, like nothing had happened.
