ISAAC’S POV The drive back from the prison was quiet. Dead quiet… Judy sat beside me in the passenger seat, her gaze fixed outside the window, watching the city blur past her. Neither of us spoke. We were both thinking..thinking about what we saw there. Her grave… Mira was dead..but was she? “She’s dead,” Judy said finally, breaking the silence. Her voice was calm and certain.
