JUDY’S POV As I slid down to the bathroom floor I tried to remember how it all played out. I had stepped away to greet some guests and sort out a few things. By the time I returned from speaking to the last group, my head began to feel strangely heavy. I wondered what was happening and I just blamed it on the wine. But when I looked at the glass I was holding I realized that in fact I had barely taken a few sips all evening, yet the warmth spreading through my body felt stronger than it should have.
