JUDY’S POV When I stepped into the dim the parlor of the house, I called out… “Daniel?” That time, there was no answer. I moved deeper into the house, my clicks sharply against the polished floor. Then a figure stepped from the shadows near the staircase. “You remembered I exist.” I stopped instantly, turning to see him… Daniel looked thinner than the last time I’d seen him.
