Mira’s POV
“You just remind me of someone,” she whispered and that made my heart skip.
I could only wonder why she suddenly thought of that. I couldn't make any expression so as not to bring suspicion and even at that I couldn't still completely place by hand around whether she was probing or was just trying to get closer.
She was probably just using that to get the conversation going so I was going to play along.
The surgery had gone so perfectly fine and I doubted she could even get to see through that.
“Oh why do you think that?” I asked with an incredulous smile on my face, even though my heart was racing.
