Chapter 11 Was It All A Dream?

When I wake up I am in my bed, and I don't remember how I got there. God my head was fuzzy I got up looked out of my window and saw my car parked outside. Then my mind flashed back to last night and everything that had happened. The dog, the man, and the girl, the place that looked like heaven. I knew I needed to get my bearings otherwise I would start to panic. The last thing I needed was my mom thinking I was crazy.
When I got down stairs, my mom looked at me and then continued doing what she was doing. It was like last night had never happened. "What the f**k was going on?" I said in my head not knowing how to react. So instead of saying or doing anything I just got my stuff and got into the shower. I was in there for a long time, at least it felt like that. And when I got out I looked at myself in the mirror.
As I did my morning routine, and brushed my long dark brown locks of curly hair. I stared in to my dark brown eyes and tan skin, and then proceeded to dry my hair. Then I took out my flat iron and did my hair. I never let one hair go in ironed I am a neat freak. then go put in a long sleeved pink dress the reaches just a little Above the knee cause you know dress code and all. I pare it with a black leather jacket and a long necklace and scarf, and my favorite boots. You could even say that I am a fashionista of some sorts.
When I get down stairs I make myself some toast and smear some grape jelly on it, and quickly eat it. I was thankful that today was a late start day otherwise I would be incredibly late. I am quick to then grave my keys and head for the door. As I reached my car I felt a pair of eyes watching me but I just shake it off and get in.
When I get to school I see all three of my best friends and that's when everything starts to come into perspective.
" where did you go last night?" Bree asked and to be honest I really didn't know what happened cause everything was a blur.
"What do you mean?" I asked because I really did want to know my self.
" we were at the mall and you just vanished." Lily said.
Just as she said that last night didn't seem like a dream even thou it felt like one.
"What do you mean by I just vanished?" I asked feeling like my heart was going to explode , it was beating that fast.
" we mean you were there and the next you were gone." Pazely said sounding like a crazy person thou I would never tell her that.
" I am so sorry fo worrying you." I said event thou I knew what the next question was. Knowing I had to come up with a good lie.
" what happened?" Bree asked and now here come the lie the first one I would ever tell my friends cause I didn't know what else to do.
" Oh my mom texted me telling me I needed to get home to watch my sister, cause she and my dad were having a date night." I said because I knew that would be the most convincing lie.
" Well if that is what happened why didn't you just tell use you were leaving?" Bree asked and then came to second lie.
" She told me if I didn't get there that instant I would be grounded. You know for not telling her I was going to the mall. Plus I was too embarrassed to tell you guys, so I guess I just chickened out." I said in a rush. Hoping that would satisfy there Curiosity.
" You know you could have told us we wouldn't have been mad." Lilly said making my relax a bit.
" I know and I am sorry." I said feeling bad for lying to them.
" it's okay." They all said together giving me a hug.
" We have got to get to class." I said as I heard the bell ring. Knowing that this was not the end to the weirdness that was now my life.
