“Lies!” Evelyn shrieked, her voice sharp as broken glass. “I only told them to watch her! When did I ever say something like that?!” The lead Alpha sneered and pulled out his communicator. “I figured something might happen, so I recorded it—just in case.” He tapped the screen.
