Alex had to return to the company after bringing Eve back to Autumn Garden. An urgent meeting with the board of directors required his attention, and by the time he returned home, it was already eight in the evening.
Upon his arrival, he immediately inquired about Eve’s whereabouts. Butler Clark informed him that she had already had dinner. With that assurance, Alex had a quick meal himself before heading upstairs.
