Hailee called her father’s attention when he stopped in his tracks and stared at Eve intently. His expression was puzzled and shocked.
Her eyes darted between Eve and her father, filled with confusion because it seemed like they had known each other for a long time. It was clear from the way they stared at each other, and she wondered what the hell this woman was doing.
"Get out of our way!" she glared at Eve furiously.
