Chapter XXXVI Minelli’s arrest Libero Minelli was not at the police station. As soon as he was brought there, after a short interrogation where all he could say was that he did not know anything, they moved him to a block of flats nearby. The tiny room was in the basement, dark and without windows. He knew the stories of what happened in those basements and alone, sitting on a chair with his hands and feet tied fast, was expecting the worse.
