Minelli’s arrest
Libero Minelli was not at the police station. As soon as he was brought there, after a short interrogation where all he could say was that he did not know anything, they moved him to a block of flats nearby. The tiny room was in the basement, dark and without windows. He knew the stories of what happened in those basements and alone, sitting on a chair with his hands and feet tied fast, was expecting the worse. Before getting him into a car, they had blindfolded him but the distance between the police station and the new prison was short. They went down the stairs then they removed his blindfold. Some light was coming from under the door, proof that there was a window somewhere. There were no sounds to be heard.
