Chapter 2:The new Beginning

“ Please tell Mr. Law to come and see me Miss. Grace” -The Director of I.S.S.V told his assistant. She immediately calls for Agent Law.

A man with wavy and unruly hair, black eyes, and gentle and cool looks came into the Director’s office.

“Good morning Sir! Did you call for me? “Jhonny asks.

Melvin replies ” Oh yes Mr. Law, take a seat. You see I’ve called you here to assign an mission which you might have a lot of interest on. I’ve heard that your interested in cosmic energy and research , is that true?”

“In a way, yes sir!” he said

“Here you go, the details, It’s of a cosmic wave radiating on a region on Earth which happens rarely when outer space objects strikes on the planet with heavy force, but the thing is that the last time an extraterrestrial object has entered into the atmosphere is accurately 2 and a half months from now and even that didn’t have enough impact force to radiate cosmic energy this high. ” Director explains.

Jhonny asks” Sir I understand that you chose me due to my knowledge in the field, but this region you spoke of is in South of the country India, I remember that we already have a branch there ,right? shouldn’t this case go to them?”

Melvin Replies “ Agent Law , you see I haven’t quite finished explaining your mission, 10 of our S-rank agents from the All Indian sector has gone missing while investigating this case, as only 5 agents with expertise skills are left they requested backup from our International sector, Now you understand the seriousness of the case don’t you ?”

“It’s quite hard to believe that 10 of our S-rank agents went missing, but why wasn’t it reported earlier?”

“As you know, the Indian sector works quite differently , they report after completion of a mission and so it isn’t a wonder this happened, but you have to complete this mission as soon s possible because the life of our agents are on the line, I know the last mission you had in India didn’t go as expected as the whole building exploded with that d**g Dealer and his family. But you still burned the whole supplies and saved the life of a million people.” The Director said.

“ It bothers me less that I killed that d**g Dealer guy , but his family who knew nothing about it , even thought such deaths are part of the path to save a million lives each life is valuable” Jhonny exclaimed.

“You have a good heart Mr. Law, it’s quite rare for our agents, its also the reason why I don’t assign any floppy cases to you, as you’ll know what to do to save each and everyone , that’s also the reason why I trust you to handle this case! We need everyone back alive don’t we? ” The Director said as Johnny finished looking at the files.

“ Sure Sir, I’ll do my best to bring back all the agents!” Jhonny said with a smile ignited on his face. He got up and walked to the door.

“ And Agent Law, you’ll be accompanied by a junior agent , Agent Leaf.” Miss. Grace said.

“Wait, by Agent Leaf you mean Luke?” With an uneasy amazement Jhonny asks.

“Yeah, you know him?”

“ Trust me you don’t wanna hear what happen when I went to meet the junior agents selected last year, he’s what you would call a hyperactive knucklehead! ” Jhonny said aloud.

“Says the guy whom everybody calls the hyperactive level-head” Miss. Grace said to The Director.

Jhonny looks at Miss. Grace with a sinister grin, the Director cut the short term silence by saying.

“I think that the kid would be quite an asset in this mission, you do know that he was chosen for his hacking skills and infiltration tactics!? ”

“I wouldn’t deny that he’s skilled sir but with his hasty and quirky nature he’s someone who’d announce his arrival during infiltration.” Jhonny expressed his concern.

The Director smiled and said “That’s where you come in Mr. Law, I’m not only assigning him to you for this mission but I’m making you his mentor. From now its your duty to lead him down the right path.”

“Busted” Miss Grace whispered to herself.

Jhonny stood completely astonished “ Sir are you serious ? I’m not exactly a mentor type and you know that I like to work alone ,Right?”

“No backing out Mr. Law, Its an order!”

“Okay sir! I’ll try that’s all I can say.” He said.

“You can collect the rest of the details and your gadgets from Mr. Steven before you leave, that’ll be tomorrow 6:30 am at the hangar” Miss. Grace said to him before he left the room.
