Brunch and meeting part 1

Diego pulled his hood on and pulled the mask out of his pocket and put it on. He wandered towards where the tunnel is.
He needs to see the masked person from up close. He only has one question that is running in his mind.
He needs the answer no matter what. He stopped walking when he saw the media near Team A and B's greenroom.
He started walking towards the other side knowing the boys are not in the greenroom.
He walked towards where their tunnel is. He knew he will find the mysterious man of Team A and B will be over there with the boys.
"Are we going back to the green room to get our bags?" Rhett asked.
"Yes, we need to go and get our bags," Daman said.
"Let's go and get them. My parents want to talk with me," Rhett said.
"Haha... Your parents or your girlfriend?" Kayden teased wrapping his arm on Rhett's shoulder.
Rhett blushed shaking his head. "It's for sure his girlfriend who is waiting for him. And he cannot wait to see her," Daman said.
"Obviously, I haven't been able to talk to her properly. Thanks to brother Ace, because of this brunch I will be able to have a conversation with her and my parents," Rhett explained.
"True brother," Daman said.
"You will be joining the brunch?" Maya asked Ace.
Ace doesn't know if he is going to join the brunch or not. The boys asked him to join the brunch as they are excited to introduce their parents to him.
He couldn't say no to them seeing their excited and happy faces. He couldn't go there because the girl from whom he wants to run away will be there.
"Brunch?" Gargi who is standing behind Ace asked.
"Yes, brunch. We are having a brunch with the boy's families. We never had a proper met nor did the boys have time to spend with their families. So planned this brunch but I don't know if he going to be there," Maya said looking at Gargi.
Gargi started thinking about the girl who looks like Julia. If all the families are going to be there then that means the girl is also going to be there.
Ace looked at Gargi. Be knew what is going on inside her mind. Before Gargi could reveal anything to Maya and Sawyer.
Ace spoke, "I'm joining the brunch. I need to meet the boy's parents."
"But-" Gargi was going to say about his trauma.
"Gargi, can I talk to you for a minute," Ace said turning her.
Maya started smiling teasingly. "Haha, I will leave you two alone."
Maya wandered towards where Sawyer is while Ace waited to talk to Gargi.
"Gargi, I'm thankful that you didn't tell Maya and Sawyer the reason why I got the panic attack. I don't want them to know about the reason. I don't want you to say anything about Julia and Greyson's sister. She is not Julia so let's forget that I have told you," Ace said in a low voice.
"I... I don't want to make anything awkward and probably she doesn't even have any idea of anything. I will handle and I don't have to run away," Ace added.
Gargi as a therapist understood what Ace is saying but as a lady having a crush on him, she doesn't want him to go and see the girl who isn't the girl he loved in his lucid dream.
Ace waited for Gargi to say something. "Okay, I will not tell Maya or anyone about this," Gargi said.
"Thank you."
"Ace..." Gargi said.
"Yes?" Ace asked.
"Can I join the brunch? I don't have any plans."
Ace didn't know what to say. Gargi waited for his answer.
"Okay."
Gargi smiled brightly nodding her head at Ace. Greyson texted his sister that he will be meeting them at the restaurant soon.
"Hmm, let's go. The boys need to go to the greenroom to get their bags," Ace said.
"Okay."
"Make it fast, we will wait in the parking lot," Ace said.
"Okay brother Ace," Myles said.
Diego stopped at the tunnel as he saw Maya and Sawyer talking with the players of Team A and B.
His gaze then went to the mysterious man standing behind them with a lady.
Greyson looked up from his phone screen. He looked at the man standing near the tunnel wearing a mask.
His face went to the hoodie and long jacket he is wearing. Greyson's gaze went back to the face.
"Diego?" Grant said.
Myles and Brooks looked up to Grant. They followed his gaze and saw Diego standing near the tunnel.
Diego shifted his gaze as the boys are looking at him.
"What is he doing here?" Brooks asked.
Deigo looked behind as the mysterious man is leaving with the girl.
Maya and Sawyer also started leaving with the mysterious man and girl.
Greyson looked back to see Ace leaving with Gargi, Maya and Sawyer.
"Stop him, he is here to see brother Ace," Greyson whisper said.
Grant and Daman turned and looked at Greyson. Greyson nodded his head.
Diego was about to ignore the boys and follow out to see Maya and Sawyer when he was stopped.
"Diego? What are you doing here?" Grant asked stepping forward.
Deigo looked at Grant. Greyson pulled his phone out to text Ace.
'Diego is here for some reason. We stopped him.'
He sent a quick message and waited for Grant to speak.
Diego didn't know what to say. He looked back to see that Maya, Sawyer and the mysterious man left.
He wanted to curse but he didn't. He looked at Grant and at the boys who is looking at him.
He didn't say anything, he turned and started walking back from where he came from.
Samuel stopped when he saw Diego. "Diego? What are you are doing here?" Samuel asked.
Diego removed his mask and looked at Samuel.
"What are you doing here?" Diego counter asked Samuel.
"To see if Maya and Sawyer are here. Kaleb said he saw them here," Samuel said.
Diego gave Samuel a blank face. "I know what's going on Samuel. I just need to confirm but I don't give a f**k about it," Diego said before walking away.
The boys looked at Samuel and Diego in confusion.
"Sorry boys and congratulations on your win," Samuel said.
"Thank you "
"Thank you."
"Thank you."
"Thank you."
The boys thanked Samuel. "Sorry but I need to go now," Samuel said.
The boys nodded their heads. Samuel turned and left in the direction Diego went.
"Come on, brother Ace is waiting for us outside. We need to get our bags and leave," Grant said.
"Yeah," Brooks said.
They all started walking towards their greenroom.
"Why did he come and why did he go?" Myles asked.
"I don't know," Brooks replied.
"Must've come here to see brother Ace," Grant said.
"But how would he know about brother Ace?" Daman asked.
"Maybe he got doubt, I mean you heard Samuel say that he saw Maya didi and Sawyer. They knew them so maybe they got doubt as Maya didi and Sawyer were with us," Grant said.
What Grant said were the same thoughts running in Greyson's mind.
Ace pulled his phone out as he checked Greyson's message.
"Send me the location, I will drive there," Gargi said.
"Huh? Yeah. Just a minute," Ace said.
"Okay."
"Ace," Maya called.
Ace looked at Maya and Sawyer. "Got a call from Samuel, Kaleb saw me and Sawyer," Maya said.
"We will leave now. I will tell you the details at the restaurant," Maya added.
"Okay."
Maya and Sawyer left. Gargi got inside her car and Ace did the same thing.
The boys stepped onto the bus and took their seats. They are excited to meet their parents.
They are not going to stay back for the next match because of the brunch.
