The D-day

Ace pushed his hair back as he looked at his reflection in the mirror.
He picked his black long jacket as a sigh left his mouth.
He put on the jacket, picked his wrist watch. He put on as he thought of boys and the tournament.
When he is done getting ready, he picked his phone, important documents, wallet and car keys.
He looked into the eyes of his reflection before turning around and leaving the room.
He didn't wait anywhere as he wandered to the ground floor where all the boys are waiting.
Greyson looked at the time on his phone. Its four in the early morning, they have to leave early as it is going to be a two hours of road journey.
Zeke leaned his head on Carl's shoulder as he watched Brooks and Myles.
"Don't be nervous, everything will be alright," Myles said placing his hand on Brooks shoulder.
"Fingers crossed."
"Just focus your attention on the screen. Don't think about anything as brother Ace said. Forget about everyone that is around you," Grant said.
"Yeah... Just imagine that we are in our den," Kayden said wandering into the room.
Ace's phone rang as soon as he reached the floor. Everyone turned their heads to the entrance.
Ace pulled his phone out and answered the call.
"Yes?"
"Sir, I'm waiting outside."
"Okay, will be there soon," Ace said ending the call.
"Good morning," Ace said looking at boys.
"Good morning," Grant said.
"Good morning, brother Ace," Kayden said.
"Good morning, brother," Rhett said.
"Good morning, brother."
Everyone greeted Ace he stood in the middle. "Everyone ready?" Ace asked.
"Yes."
"Yes."
"There is a surprise waiting for you all in the driveway," Ace said.
"Surprise?" Zeke asked standing up from his seat immediately.
Ace nodded his head, all the boys stood up from their seats and ran towards the driveway.
Grant laughed shaking his head. "Let's go," he said looking at Greyson.
Greyson stood up from his chair and followed Ace and Grant out.
"Wow!" Zeke yelled as his eyes widen in shock.
"Woah bro!" Carl said looking at the bus.
"Is this our bus?" Logan asked in shock.
Greyson looked at the huge luxury black bus in the driveway.
"Brother Ace! Is this our bus?" Daman asked turning around and looking at Ace.
"Yes, this is our bus," Ace said.
He watched as the boy's faces lit in happiness.
"This is f*****g beautiful!" Brooks said.
"It is!"
"Wow, I never thought we would be having our own black bus," Zeke said.
Ace smiled looking at boys. "Thank you," Greyson said standing beside Ace.
Ace turned his head, looked at Greyson. "Anything for you guys," Ace replied.
Greyson nodded his head. He knew that Ace would do anything for them.
He would buy anything in the world for them. To Ace they are his boys and for them he will give everything that is possible.
"I love you so much, brother Ace!" Zeke said.
Ace smiled looking at Zeke. Ace felt the happiness radiating in his heart watching the boys happiness.
"Get your belongings and get inside. We will be leaving in ten minutes," Ace said.
He waited as the boys scattered around to get their backpacks.
In the mean time Ace called Sawyer to know where they are.
Maya and Sawyer with kids reached New York last night. They are staying in Ace's apartment in upper Manhattan.
"Where's my bag?" Daman asked Kayden.
"Here." Kayden gave Daman's bag back to him.
"No, don't wear your digital watches," Greyson told Brooks and Myles.
"Okay, we will remove and keep it in our bags," Myles said.
"Yes."
"Good."
"Start moving," Grant said.
Grant's phone vibrated. He checked the message to see that his brother is coming to the tournament.
"Your brother is joining your parents?" Carl asked Grant.
"Yes, he is joining. I'm happy," Carl said.
"Nice."
"What about yours?" Grant asked.
"My mum is not coming. Dad and brother are coming," Carl replied walking out.
"Nice."
"Logan sit with me," Daman said.
"Okay."

"You have any idea of who is the new team?" Kaleb asked Antonio.
Antonio stopped texting on his phone. Turned his head and looked at Kaleb.
"No idea," Antonio said.
Ruth leaned back in her seat, not at all concerned about anything.
This is going to be her last tournament. She has to leave the company, the company has terminated their contract with her.
In the heat of the moment Ruth signed the documents and told her parents that she will returning back home.
Diego didn't say word when this happened. She wasn't ready to listen to him nor Diego was in a position to tell her anything.
His heart is broken, he is done running back of Ruth and wishing that they have a normal relationship.
"Samuel... You have any idea about this A and B team?" Antonio asked Samuel who is sitting in the front.
"No idea," Samuel replied.
Diego turned his head, looked at Samuel. Samuel's gaze met Diego's.
"You seriously don't have any idea of this team? You know a lot of companies," Kaleb said.
"You also have many connections, you must've heard of this new team," Antonio said.
Diego carefully observed Samuel. He knew that Samuel knew something about this team but he doesn't want to tell them.
"I have connections but they wouldn't disclose all the matters. Let's see on the stage when all the teams are called," Samuel said as his phone vibrated.
"Hmm..."
Kaleb leaned back in his seat. Diego closed his eyes and crossed his arms as he thought about the new team.
"There are many speculations and news avout this team," Kaleb said showing his phone screen to Antonio.
Antonio took the phone from Kaleb and went through the news that are posted on the forum.
"Woah, the investment of this company is higher than ours," Antonio said.
"Yes, the players are getting paid twice than us," Antonio added.
"What?" Ruth questioned turning in her seat and facing Antonio and Kaleb.
"Yes, that's the reason everyone are eager to meet the CEO of the company. He is investing millions of dollars on his team members who are newbies. They have not played national tournaments before."
"Why didn't we know about this before?" Ruth asked.
"No idea, they kept it as a secret and everyone got to know about this new team when the team announcement happened," Antonio explained.
"I'm eager to meet this team. I hope they are not bad players or else millions of dollars would become a waste," Kaleb said.
"Don't hope that they are as good as us. It would become a problem for us if they are better," Ruth said.
Before Kaleb or Antonio could say something they reached the location.
"Ruth, don't say anything. There are many fans outside waiting for you all," Samuel said.
"Wake Preston up," Diego said.
Kaleb stood up from his seat, wandered to where Preston is sleeping.
"Preston... Preston..." Kaleb started shaking Preston's shoulder.
Preston groaned before opening his eyes. "Wake up, we reached the location," Kaleb said.
"Diego... Don't out on a blank face. There are already many articles on you, try to be nice with the fans," Samuel explained Diego.
"Okay." Diego nodded his head.
Samuel was the first one to step out of the bus with Diego, Ruth, Antonio, Kaleb and Preston following behind in a row.
Diego's eyes went to the fans who are waiting for them.
As soon as they stepped out they yelled in happiness.
"Diego!"
"Diego!"
"I love you Diego! Diego I f*****g love you!"
"Look at me Kaleb!"
"Kaleb"
"Kaleb, you look hot!"
"Ruth are you leaving the company!"
"No photos, they have to get inside. Photos later," Samuel said as the bodyguards started making way.
Ruth looked at Diego who didn't turn around or held her hand like he always does.
That didn't go unnoticed by the fans, they started asking questions and clicking pictures.
"Ruth, move. Don't stop or else they will not allow you to go," Antonio said placing his hand on her arm.
Ruth turned around to look at Antonio. She held his hand for support before she started walking.
Everyone looked at their way as they entered the hall. The welcoming ceremony will start in an hour.
Diego made eye contact with the other team's memebers as they are waiting in the hall.
"Room 201," Samuel said.
Diego wandered towards where the elevator is.
"You good?" Antonio asked Ruth.
Preston who is walking with Kaleb turned his head and looked at Ruth.
"Why would she be good after having a shitty fight with the company," Preston muttered his breath which Kaleb heard.
"Ssh..."
Preston rolled his eyes before walking behind Diego leaving Kaleb, Antonio and Ruth behind.
"Yes, I'm good," Ruth replied.
"Don't think about anything. We still have chances in our hands, concentrate on your game. If you play well and give your best the company will never let you go even if you have signed the terminated contract," Antonio explained Ruth.
"He is right, Ruth. Don't take these tournament lightly. Please take them seriously so that it will give you a chance to stay with us," Kaleb said.
Samuel watched and listened to the conversation but didn't say a thing.
Samuel knew even if Ruth plays very well the company is not going to take her back.
The contract is already done, they have already searched for a new player who is ready to take over the position of Ruth.
The company is waiting to make the announcement soon after the tournament ends.
It's a matter of one month before Ruth leaves the company, the group and the city.
"Diego, I'm telling you if Ruth messes anything I'm gonna lose my cool," Preston said as soon as they entered the room.
"She will not mess it up. Play your game, I will help you out if anything happens," Diego said.
"Okay."
Diego nodded his head before taking the single sofa chair. He pulled his phone out to read the articles Kaleb and Antonio were talking about.
