Ace looked at the screen as every player entered the room.
Grayson crossed his arms while his gaze us fixed on his parents who sat across him.
He nodded his head as his mother waved her hand in excitement.
"Why isn't our boy is playing the first game?" Greyson's mum Gigi asked.
"Because he will be playing the other matches. There are two teams, every team gets to play equally. So we need to wait for our boy to play in other matches," Anit Greyson's dad said.
"Hmm okay. I'm so proud of my boy. This is a big day for him," Gigi said leaning closer to her husband.
Greyson looked at his parents as they looked at him with so many emotions in their eyes.
"I'm proud of him too. Win or lose, we will always support him," Anit said before placing a kiss on her forehead.
"Yes, we will always support our kids," Gigi said remembering her daughter.
"Zeke boy, the room is created. Stop talking and concentrate," Grant spoke.
"Yes, bro," Zeke replied.
"Team Solomid, the room is open. Please select your character," anchor one said.
Logan looked at his screen as his opponent choose Sven. Logan shifted his gaze to look at where Ace sat.
He made eye contact with Ace. Ace gave a slight nod.
"Okay, Harry has selected Sven," anchor two said.
Zeke tapped his finger on the table as he waited for the mid to select the character.
"Brother Ace told Grant not to take Sven," Carl whispered to Daman.
"Hmm," Daman hummed concentrating on the screen.
Diego observed everything that is happening between the masked man and team Bhagirathi.
Everyone on Team Solomid has selected their characters.
"Okay, Team Solomid has selected their characters and blocked their avatars," anchor one said.
"Now, Team A and B please select your characters and block the avatars," anchor two spoke looking at the screen.
"Zeke, go for it," Logan said.
"Hmm."
Zeke selected the earthshaker. "Myles, select the character," Grant said.
"Hmm." Myles looked at the characters on screen and blocked Lina.
Ruth raised her brow looking at the screen. "He selected my area of choice. Let me see if he can play the character or not," Kaleb spoke.
"Yes," Preston said.
"Logan, go for it."
"I just pray that everything goes properly. I don't want anything to happen," Maya said holding Sawyer's hand as she looked at the screen.
Sawyer gently placed a kiss on the back of her hand. "Don't worry, nothing will happen. They will do good and win this match," Sawyer replied.
"I pray that that should happen."
"It will happen, they are strong and know their game," Sawyer said positively.
"Yes, that's true but the opposite team also know their game," Maya replied.
"Calm down, think positive."
"Okay."
"Rhett," Grant said.
"Hmm." Rhett selected the character Ursa and blocked the Avatar.
"Okay, it's turn for the captain to choose the character," anchor two said.
Grant shifted his gaze to Ace. Ace signalled him the forehead in their secret code language.
Grant shifted his gaze back and choose the character Pudge.
"Ruth, he selected your area of expertise. What do you think? Will he play better than you?" Kaleb asked.
"Of course, I think he will play better than her," Preston said.
Ruth turned her head and glared at Preston.
"Preston, shut up. The audience and the cameras are everywhere. Don't you comment a thing on anyone? Or else you have to face the team," Samuel immediately warned before Ruth could say a thing.
He knew if he didn't speak up, Ruth would have said something and they would start an argument immediately.
"And everyone get ready for the first match of the National eSports Tournament 2018!" Both the anchors said together.
The audience roared in return cheering for their favourite player.
The game went on for thirty-five minutes. Daman could feel the tension rising in the air.
Carl started biting his lower lip watching the screen.
