A Prophecy, or a Nightmare

He felt his whole body working; his leg muscles running warm, fresh air entered his lungs and blood flowed into all his limbs. Gut-wrenching, heart pumping— after several thrusts forward his legs became tired but he cannot stop. If he stopped, then the creature behind him would consume him just like the others. He saw how the monsters consumed others, and saw how it devoured his colleagues, his friends and others. "f**k!" Rover curses under his breath as he runs away from the Creature of Tar and Fire. The monster behind him snarls and growls, making him more nervous. It's inching closer to him. As the creature approaches him, slithering its way nearer to have a chance to consume him. Adrenaline coursed through his veins. His fight or flight instincts immediately kicked in. Rover darted past people, buildings and trees. And he closed his eyes --- covering his ears with both hands as he tried to muffle the sound of people screaming, their bones cracking as the creature took a bite. And then, what he feared the most happened, he tripped against the root of a tree. "s**t!" He cursed, he placed his hands in front of him, trying to prevent himself from getting too injured. But then, he thought... Why would he need to fight for his life when he is about to reach the end of his life anyway? His parents, his family and his girlfriend... they all died in front of him. All of his loved ones were consumed by this creature. Rover bit his lip, his hands balled into a fist as he heard the sound of rustling and bustling of the fallen leaves getting closer and closer. The sounds of the snarling creature was near him. And then, gathering all his strength, he turned around. This is not how he wanted his life to end. But he did not want to run anymore. If he'll die today, then he will face death with a smug look on his face. When the creature was only a few metres away from him, Rover stood up. He is not going to run anymore. "Come at me, you fucker!" He screamed, and then the creature approached him, its mouth wide open, showing all of the bones stuck on its mouth and the eyes of the people it consumed stuck on its body. He was ready to die that day. He openly welcomed death and felt the boney fingers of death latch on his shoulder. But then, when the creature was only a few feet away, it stopped. It remained motionless. Its hundreds of eyes blinked stupidly as if it had a thought. Then the creature closed its mouth, turned around and began to move away from him. It left Rover completely stupefied. His mouth was gaped and his hands fell limp on both sides of his body. It was nothing but some-sort of miracle. But what is so miraculous about this? When he was a kid, he heard about this legend at least once or twice. These creatures don't stop eating, for their stomachs never get full. And for they are hollow creatures without brains. It gave him goosebumps to think that the creature had a thought. And if it did, what was it thinking? What slipped its mind and why did it stop? So many questions lingered on his mind, and then --- Rover recalled something. The only reason for them to retract is if the Undying Man --- the Killer of the Zodiacs ordered them to return to the pit where they belong. And that was never a good thing. Rover swallowed against his dry throat, trying to make sense of what's going on. If it's really over or not. Or maybe... something even worse than this is about to happen. Something inside his consciousness told him to follow the Creature, and stupidly enough, he did. "f**k, I'm really going to die today... Am I?" He said to himself as he prepared himself to run again. But this time, he is the one chasing the creature. He quickened her pace until steps became leaps. His feet flew over stones and leaves as cold air bit into his lungs. Soon, he was already in the middle of the City. But then... the creature was nowhere to be found. He bent down, and placed both of his hands against his knees, catching his breath. "What the f**k is going on..." He told himself after seeing a few people were looking around as well. They may be safe for now... but based on the look on their faces, each and everyone of them knows that the worst is yet to come. =================== Loud roars of thunder resounded at the wide dark sky. Lightning strikes the ocean making the calm seas wave vigorously. Soon birds from different directions gawked and flew against the humongous storm. All creatures, may it be creatures of the sea and the air were trying to get away. The Undying Man's wrath displayed onto the sky as he was standing outside of his castle. His hands were raised, his palms facing the sky. The Celestials he killed and he thought he destroyed for good were rising one by one. And he did not like the idea of it. He was furious and angry. He wanted to kill any living creature he could see. He let out another blood curdling scream, the rain poured and lightning strikes against an innocent Pelican who was just trying to safely make its way home. The bird fell on the sea, and soon a vortex showed up in the middle of the ocean where the bird fell. It was the mouth of Atlas, as the giant beast was consuming every creature that died from the wrath of the Undying Man. "Why didn't I give those idiots bigger brains when I created them?!" He shouted and screamed. Emir opened and closed his hand again so that he could create another storm, sending it somewhere so he could terrorize another land. "I f*****g hate those Celestials… I f*****g hate them with the interiety of my being!" He was pissed when he learned that Golind and Sphinox failed to get the Bane of Scorpio. But then Creatures who were about to make ruins of the Island of Mindoro were killed as well. Not only that, but the Celestial of the 2nd house had risen. Taurus. Oh how Emir despised that Celestial. He hates that being to the core. The Taurus was powerful. Truly, the second house was as powerful --- rather almost powerful as Aries. Aries may be the creator of life, for the Fire in her allowed her to give life to the non-living things, but Taurus has the power of the Earth. The Taurus can create Earthquakes, and she can shake the Earth. She can manipulate the minerals under the earth, metals and rocks and even trees. Anything on the Earth, she can make it move by her sheer will. And when she worked along with Scorpio, they were unstoppable. The water and earth, as the ancient people called them. This is not written in the books, not included at the Legends, because Emir was the only witness. If it wasn't for a child coming into the battleground, the Celestials would have killed him with ease. The Celestials battled against Emir. The Taurus, she was one of the last one standing along with Aries, Scorpio and Leo. They were the four that remained. Aries was directly fighting with him, and the fire Aries wielded almost killed him. But then, Scorpio was killed and Taurus... she saw her lover die in front of her eyes. A child suddenly appeared in the battleground and was almost eaten by the creature of tar and coal. But then Scorpio got in the way, pushing the child away. He saved the child, but he was eaten instead. The creature who consumed the Scorpio absorbed his power. But then the bane inside him poisoned the creature, killing it in the process. When Taurus witnessed the death of her lover, she could not bear the sadness and the sorrow. Taurus lost her will to live. So they let the creatures consume her. Letting her blood seep and ooze as the creature takes a bite of her body. Aries was about to pierce Emir with her mighty sword... but then the two other Celestials died, and now Leo was alone and trapped. That was the beginning of their downfall. The two power houses died, and Aries sacrificed herself to save the remaining power of the three. Just remembering the power of those beings sends shivers down Emirs spine. He fears for their return. And now that he's slowly decaying, he needs to extract the powers of those beings even more to make it his own. He did it once to Capricorn, he can do it again. But this time, he will be more careful about it. And the first thing he needs to do is to never let the person who inherited Taurus know how powerful they are. And he needs to get the Bane, and fast. And so, he summons his creature of Tar. This time, he will be the one to extract that Bane. Emir let down his hand until the palm of his hand was lined with his sight. He summoned the orb. "My creatures." He called for the creature of Tar, Blood and Coal. "March towards this land where the Taurean Celestial powers had come about. Find the being and bring that human to me... tomorrow during day break, we leave..." This time Emir calls for Golind and Sphinox once more, summoning them from the depths of the sea. "Atlas!" He calls for his first creation. "Bring those two imbeciles here!" The Earth rumbled and then a big vortex appeared. Atlas's hands showed, looking like a Volcano which came out from nowhere. Lava flowed from his fist, and as his hand rose from the sea, the sound of sizzling noises came from his burning skin. Atlas threw the two towards the Island where Emir is standing. And as Emir looked at the two who were flying on the sky, he made a slight move to the left, knowing exactly where the two imbeciles would land. "Gah!" Golind shouted, his body was dark and he was burned to the bone. The flesh on his body is slowly rebuilding itself from the punishment he received from the 1st creation. Sphinox looked worse as she was still unconscious, the Kabuki mask she was wearing had a c***k in the middle, showing the shriveled skin on her face. It showed her shame, the face that she had been hiding. Emir looked behind him and spared Golind and Sphinox a glance. "You two..." He said with a low voice, sounding more like a warning and it brought shivers down Golind and Sphinox's core. They were terrified and shamed. "...this is the last time for you two to show your worth. If you fail me, I will let Atlas consume you both."
