Therin P.O.V

The people attacking run off leaving their dead behind, looking to be a couple dozen on the ground, the ones running away look as if God rained blood on them, I look down at this woman she is in and out of consciousness. I pick her up and am imedietly surrounded, a larger than usual wolf comes up as others, some wolf some in human form surround him.

"PUT HER DOWN OUTSIDER!" I look stunned, without hesitation "no I will not, she needs help" I keep an eye on him letting my sword drop to the ground to show I'm no threat to them, "I SAID PUT HER DOWN" the wolf says, I shout back "AND I SAY I WILL NOT UNTIL WE GET HER TO A HOSPITAL!" the wolf looks taken aback. Surprisingly he turns and gestures for me to follow, a few paces behind them I carry her. I see beyond him a giant Victorian style house with people in white coats come rushing out to us, the don't speak but nod and have me follow them to a separate building behind this one. I get her onto one of the gernies and they rush her away.

Zachary P.O.V

after what seems like forever of fighting I look around and see Amanda on the ground with a man standing by her , rushing over and yelling at him we go to the hospital behind the house, I walk in after the doctors take her away, I grab him and slam him into the wall "I recognize you, you're one of the people that kept us locked up and then tried to kill us!" He winces in pain grabbing his side. Someone comes in with a bag, pulling out a pistol "alpha we found this in the woods, I think it's his." I grin "oh, so you're here to kill us? Well this will only be sweeter." I growl. He has a shocked expression on his face, " NO, I am not here to kill any of you, I brought that for protection." I chuckle "first you and your people capture us and then by chance we are attacked after escaping, you show up with a gun with silver bullets with what I can only imagine is a wolfsbane core, and you expect me to believe that you're not trying to kill us? Please explain that to me." He opens his mouth to say something but passes out. "DOCTOR!" one of the doctors comes and sees him on the floor. "This is not good Alpha." The man's face void of any color, sweat pouring off his forehead. "He looks to have blood poisoning, we need to get him into a room and operate."

The doctor picks him up and puts him on a gernie and rolls him away. Reggie comes running in "Zachary, where is she, is she ok? I found the body where she was, his head was cut off, I examined it, almost all of his teeth were replaced with silver teeth. It wasn't that guy that tried to kill her, he saved her." I turn and look at Reggie "no that can't be, he and his father had us chained to chairs." Reggie interrupts "look at his bag, it looks like a kids bag that's trying to run away from something or someone." I look down the hall and get the attention of one of the nurses, "nurse, when he wakes up let me know ok?" She has a blank look "yes alpha I will." With a bit of a bow.

Let's go back to my office I need to speak with you in private and I don't want to mind link you." Reggie laughs "alright let me check on Bethany and I'll be right there." We head to the pack house I see my mate is fine, just a bit shaken, "I'll come find you after I talk to Reggie." With a wink and a smile, she nods and I make my way up to the office, Reggie does the same. I open the door and see the place ransacked, "REGGIE NOW" Reggie comes running in mouth agape seeing the same thing I am, papers strewn all over, lamps broken, couch and desk flipped. "What the hell happened here?" Reggie whispered "I don't know little brother but with no one getting into the house, I think we have a traitor among us." Reggie scoffed "yeah, I think I know who too."

"Are you thinking about our new arrival?" He looks at me with such a serious tone "you know that's exactly who I'm thinking of" a growl can be heard deep from Reggie's chest, he turns and walks out hollaring for Lori Ann.

Lori Ann P.O.V

down the stairs Reggie comes running down yelling for me, I'm completely confused, he finds me in the kitchen, he rushes over and grabs my arm, I try to shake him off but his grip is so tight, I understand they just had a battle but he should have calmed down by now.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU, WHY DID YOU DESTROY ZACHARY'S OFFICE, ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING!? FINDING WAYS OF KILLING US?!" my face goes white, "wh-what are you talking about?" My voice faulters. "DONT f*****g PLAY DUMB WITH ME YOU b***h, FRIM DAY ONE YOUVE BEEN TRYING TO STAB US IN THE BACK, YOUVE DONE NOTHING BUT LIE TO US, YOU CAME TO FIND OUR WEEKNESSES!" "what? No, I came back not to hurt you but to help!" Reggie becomes more enraged "BULLSHIT, YOU CAME TO DESTROY US!"

Zachary come down the stairs "Reggie we need to talk." He grins as if he has some dark intentions "after I lock this b***h up." Zachary shakes his head "NO NOW!" Using his Aura. Reggie lets go of my arm and goes with Zachary. An hour later Reggie and Zachary come back, Reggie comes back to me, I start backing up scared, he embraces me in one of the biggest hugs I have ever had "I am so so sorry aunty" he whispers into my ear.

I look at Zachary and he nods, tears flow down my cheeks, I have finally found the home I had been missing, all this time away when I should have been here this whole time, I hug him back, silence, we hear the door open and see Bethany. The look of anger and hurt comes on her face, she rushes over and slaps both myself and Reggie and then points to both of us as if Reggie was sleeping with me.

Reggie grabs Bethany in a tight hug as she tries to get away and whispers something in her ear, she stops moving, eyes wide and she scowls at me for a minute as if she's trying to figure out what he said was true. Her eyes widened shakes Reggie off of her and rushes to me with open arms wrapping them around my neck bringing me in for another hug, now I'm usually not one for hugs but right now I can deal with this "you cannot tell her, she has to figure it out on her own." Bethany looks at me with a knowing look. From behind me "so how about you explain why you had to leave all of those years ago then." I turn and see Reggie smiling.
