  Narda's POV   "Enough!"   Axle's voice cuts through the kitchen like a blade, sharp and loud enough to rattle the glassware. "Both of you. Just… shut the hell up!"   The room freezes. The silence is so heavy it feels like it's pressing down on my chest. My hand stops midair, paper towel still clutched in my fingers, and for a heartbeat, I don't even breathe. Behind me, I feel Liam's tiny hands grab onto the back of my jeans as he hides behind me, his small body trembling against my legs.   "Daddy…" His voice is small and shaky, uncertain whether to move or stay frozen.   Axle's face is hard, his jaw clenching and unclenching as he steps forward. He doesn't see Liam's tears or maybe he just doesn't want to. "Go to your room. Now."   The way he says it.. sharp and cold made me flinch
