  Narda's POV   A sound outside jerked me out of the shallow doze I'd fallen into on the sofa. For a moment, I didn't know where I was or what time it was. My head lifted from the cushion, eyes blinking against the warm, dim glow of the living room lamp I'd left on earlier.   I looked up at the clock on the wall, which read just past nine.   Nine o'clock at night.   Who knows if Axles is already home?
