Ajay's POV The sun shone warmly through the huge glass windows of Ajay's roomy office as he sat. He looked out at the skyline of the city and the busy streets crowded with commuters, too preoccupied with their own lives to see the drama developing inside his own walls. He was admired and feared because of his reputation for corporate ruthlessness. However, the marriage negotiations that had started in his family today distracted him from his concerns. Love, Ajay had always thought, was a diversion, something for the weak and unambitious. He reasoned that getting married would limit his ability to concentrate on his work. He wasn't ready to give up the independent life he had created. "Kavya is a sweet girl," his mother had said one evening over dinner, her eyes twinkling with love and care for that girl. "She's perfect for you, Ajay," his father chimed in, leaning back with a satisfied grin. "You need someone like her in your life." "Perfect?" Ajay had scoffed, a brow arching in disbelief. "Perfectly boring. She's shy, timid. I need a partner, not a scared cry baby." A curt reply had come , and the dinner ended in an awkward silence. Deep down, he respected Kavya, his dedicated assistant, whose work ethic was unmatched. However, he feared that marrying her would mean putting his ambitions at stake. Kavya's POV Kavya often finds solace in the peaceful environment, content to let others take the spotlight. Though Ajay was a hard man to read—his brows often furrowed in concentration, voice sharp like a blade, and attitude of strict principle. Still, she admired him. Ajay was brilliant; he worked tirelessly, always aiming for excellence. Nevertheless, Kavya secretly hoped that maybe, just maybe, he would be able to see past her restrained exterior and recognize the person she truly was. She had heard the murmurs of marriage being mentioned at family gatherings and was overcome with fear. She had seen Ajay's eyes glaze over every time the subject came up, so she knew he didn't want to be married. And yet she said nothing. Knowing that her ideas were irrelevant in comparison to the demands placed upon her, she would force a grin and nod when her family asked her about her feelings for Ajay. With her emotions so intertwined with fear, how could she express them? In fact, she felt intimidated by him. But the tenderness that sometimes seeped through his hard exterior drew her in and allowed her to imagine a future with him that seemed far too idealistic. Aryan's POV Aryan was Ajay's closest buddy and someone who brightened even the gloomiest places. Ajay frequently looked to him as the voice of reason because he had the ability to enchant birds off trees with a single smile. Their afternoon meetings had become discussions of marriage—the words “A girl like Kavya” could be heard again and again. "Ajay, look," Aryan said one afternoon, leaning against a desk. "I've seen you with Kavya. You might think she's shy, but she's got a heart of gold. She's dedicated, hardworking. You need someone like that in your life." "You’ve got it all wrong, Aryan. She’s too timid to even stand up to me," Ajay retorted, annoyance creeping into his voice. "I can’t have a partner who is scared to speak her mind." "But don’t you see? That’s the beauty of it. She’s innocent, genuine. The world is full of people who want to take from you, but she only wants to give. You need balance, man. She could provide that." Ajay stared at his friend, an uncomfortable knot forming in his stomach. Did he really need balance? Was his life so chaotic that he had to bring someone like Kavya into it? When their parents took matters into their own hands, the pressure increased. A party was planned one evening. Even though she was wearing beautiful a but modest attire, Kavya felt uneasy and uncomfortable in the midst of all the expectations and laughs. She came with her family, struggling to keep her head above the clamor of well-meaning relatives. Standing far away, Ajay looked around him disinterestedly. Something stirred inside him the instant he saw Kavya. The way she fidgeted with her hands as though they were her lifeline set her apart from everyone else in the room. Before he could process what was happening, his mother approached him. "Ajay, why don't you take Kavya upstairs to show her the view? You can talk about your future." Ajay’s heart raced. He had been cornered. Reluctantly, he gestured for Kavya to follow him, leading her to the She silently followed him. "Do you want to marry me?" he blurted out, frustration bubbling to the surface. Kavya's face turned a shade pale, her eyes wide with shock. "What? I—" "You heard me! Do you really want this? Do you want to be tied down to someone like me?" Kavya took a step back, her heart racing. She had fantasized about this moment—the confession, the understanding—but not like this. "I… I never wanted to pressure you, Ajay. If you don’t want to marry me, then I wouldn’t want it either." Her tenderness pierced the coldness around them, and for a moment, Ajay felt a struggle spark inside of him. He reflected that he had always taken the lead. Ambition had been his top priority, but now that he was living in the now, he realized that he needed a change in his life. Days stretched into weeks of uncertainty. Aryan's voice reverberated, imploring Ajay to see the light in Kavya, and the conversations in his head seemed like a tug-of-war. Meanwhile, Kavya busied herself with work, holding onto a shred of hope that Ajay had not completely shut her out. She found herself daydreaming often, wondering what it would be like to share a life with him, but the fear of rejection is overpowering her senses. Eventually, Ajay reached a turning point when he realized he couldn't continue living a life without emotional connections. He for sake of his family and friend agreed for marriage. He don't want to break his family heart by saying no to alliance so he eventually come to a decision to agree with unwanted alliance.Though kavya is not a bad women but she's not compatible with him, she's weak, scaredy cat and he is strong willed and confident person.
