Victor P.O.V As much as I loved the thought of our young ones finding their mates, I hated this bloody gathering. So many immature, adolescent pups roaming around, f*****g behind every corner I turned and causing trouble where there needn’t be any. You would think they would appreciate the hospitality enough to behave themselves for a few days, but with pheromones in the air, they were senseless. It was a bloody pain in my arse, and I couldn’t wait for life to snap back to normal. At least we wouldn’t have to host this shindig again for another 3 years. It did remind me of the longing though, and although at the time I wouldn’t have realised Elizabeth was out there, I’m glad I had never been given the opportunity to take part in something like this.
