Surprisingly, I managed to sleep through the night soundly, despite the thoughts that riddled my mind.
As I slowly began to wake, I became aware of the strange weight over my stomach.
I forced my eyes open, ignoring my bodies protest to sleep a little longer. My eyes adjusted and after a few confused blinks I stared at the arm draped over my waist.
I grabbed his arm and tried to lift it however it seemed I was too weak as his arm barely moved an inch.
"That's not going to work." His rough voice startled me, making my head whip to the side.
A playful smirk tugged at his lips, his eyes only half open.
"Could you move your arm please?" I asked, frowning.
I was surprised to see Nicholas still in bed, it was clearly later in
