“So you think I'm hot?”
His chest began to move up and down like beating drums, his shoulders complimenting his looks as his hand found my waist under the lining of the towel.
“I never said that!” I tried to kick but it was futile and I was falling off the bed slowly.
His hands found my waist, gripping them before I could fall off the edge of the bed. He had a slight smile on his face as he raised me into his arms.
“Now you have two options.” The smile on his lips curved into a smirk.
“You can either decide to say the truth and I'll drop you safely on the bed or I can choose to let you fall.” He whispered gently into my ears.
There was no way I would tell him that he looked charming.
I turned to look at the ground, the height wasn't much and I wouldn't be hurt in any way based on my approximations. He wasn't going to drop me, none of the men I've met ever do.
“I think you should drop me on the bed and deal with other things.” I faked a smile as his eyes found mine.
“Suit yourself.”
His grip on my towel loosened and I watched the grin on his face widen as I fell onto the tiles.
I could feel the ache in my bones as I hit the tile, my head spinning with mixed emotions. There was no way in hell he would ever get married to any woman with such an attitude.
The urge to hit him overwhelmed me and I began to struggle under the towel's tight influences. The sound of his footsteps fading made it worse and I tugged harder till I felt the towel loosen a bit.
Without thinking, I rose to my feet, letting the towel fall off. “Don't you dare move an inch.”
He halted his steps, turning slowly till his hands were folded and our eyes were locked.
“I didn't know I was turning you on that much.” He held up a smile, unfolding his arms and cracking his knuckles.
“What the…”
The sight of the towel on the floor made my rage vanish in minutes, my hands moving to cover myself before he could steal any more glances.
“Don't tell me you wanted to seduce me all this time. You could have just said it from the very beginning.” He chuckled as he came closer.
“Leave now!” I yelled.
“And why would I do that?”
“You pervert!”
“What? That's a very strong accusation for someone who called me to see this beautiful masterpiece.”
“Cover your eyes!” My cheeks flushed red as his gaze became intense.
The idea of grabbing my towel was non-existent. It felt like his eyes were restricting my movement and a single move of my hand would end this game.
He closed the gap between us, his hands hitting the walls next to me and blocking me from moving an inch. He kept staring into my eyes, trailing down till he got to my thighs.
He didn't make a move and my hands refused to dish out that satisfying slap.
After getting a good look, his hands moved, his thumb rubbing my lower lip as he stared intensely at my lips. His thumb reached the line between my lips, bringing my lower lips down a bit.
“You don't look ready yet.”
His deep voice broke the crazy thoughts roaming through my head as his hands left my lips. He turned back, heading towards the door like he just checked out a member who came for a strippers audition and was rejected.
“Are you teasing me?” I said unconsciously.
“Dinner is ready, I'll be waiting.” The door swung open and his footsteps faded.
I stared at myself, a wave of embarrassment sweeping me off my feet as I bent to pick the towel. This marked the first time a man saw me without clothes and didn't have a single reaction.
A sexy diva like me who rolled heads as a bodyguard just got looked down on. What did he mean by I wasn't ready? I never wanted to have anything with him in the first place! That scrawny CEO!
I tossed the pillow aside, heading towards the closet that appeared to be next to the bed. I turned the knob, opening the door to reveal an entire room of expensive designer outfits and shoes. The sight of the expensive wrist watches made my knees weak as a single one could have paid my rent for a whole year.
Just how rich is this Dylan Salvatore?
As I walked down the stairs, the sound of a giggle filled the air. It sounded like one of the maids that had tucked me down and from the cheer, they were having a blissful conversation.
“Juliana, do you think the young master would take a liking to that peasant?” Isabella's voice crawled out of one of the rooms.
“The master has a taste for princesses and heirs of rich corporations to fake being maids just to get his attention, he definitely wouldn't go ahead and marry a peasant.” Juliana responded.
“Did you see the way he stared at us after he left her room? I was so scared, those eyes were frightening.” Isabella stated.
“Don't worry about that. If the peasant stays much longer... she won't.” Juliana said and they both giggled.
I wanted to walk into the room and beat the both of them up to show them what a peasant could do but an idea suddenly popped up in my mind.
They liked Dylan and I was in a contract marriage with him. All I needed to do was make their lives a living hell without leaving the four walls of the mansion. The only way to do that was to make them jealous and that's exactly what I'll do.
I hurried down the stairs to see a dimly lit room with petals of roses littered everywhere. A round table stood in the middle of the room, two bottles of champagne in the middle of the table and different meals awaiting.
A man in a casual black Polo and joggers was sitted, his back facing me as he played with the rings on his hair.
“You really do know how to make a man wait.”
