Dylan returned to the kitchen with the tray in his hands, metallic sounds clicking as he kept staring at me with disappointment in his eye.
I didn't care about his maid fetish, nor would I be surprised to know that he was about to tease her on the wall in such a ferocious manner.
An hour later, after we had taken care of ourselves and had breakfast, it was time for our so-called meeting with some corporations. He didn't speak to me about it, but he kept the phrase “Try not to speak" on his tongue.
It sounded like a warning, but something in me felt it was belittling. He didn't explain what was needed, and he just wanted me to be quiet like a mannequin in a clothing store.
The ride to the meeting was filled with glares. The driver kept checking the rearview mirror to see what was going on, and the atmosphere in the room was even more awkward.
He didn't want to speak, and I also didn't want to be the first one to start a conversation. I grabbed my phone and began checking my messages.
The one thing about being a strict and no-nonsense person was that my friend group was limited. The only one there was my home girl Cassidy and her boyfriend Jake, who had somehow blown up on YouTube.
We hadn't been in contact for a year, and I believed it would be a nice time to rekindle our girl spark.
“I wouldn't do that if I were you." Dylan's voice filled my ear as he finally broke the silence.
“Why can't I text a friend?" I raised my eyebrows as he kept his eyes fixed on my phone.
“The moment you send a text, the people who thought you were dead would come looking; haven't you thought about that?"
“They could have tracked my phone down if that was the issue, so texting a friend is no different?" I stated my reason and proceeded to text Cassidy.
“You must really trust your friend so much." He chuckled before turning to look at the window, leaving me to text Cassidy.
Two minutes after my text was sent, Cassidy replied with a voice note, and after hearing the content, I could only drop the phone and stare at Dylan, who now had a stern look on his face.
“We're here." The driver said as the car engine went off and the atmosphere around us became tense.
“Put it on" Dylan said as he handed me a black and white mask that looked like two dragons fighting. It also had a jade texture and a soft and absorbent inside that wouldn't make the user uncomfortable.
After putting on the mask, I stepped out of the car to see the dark and luxurious setting that we had just set foot into.
As I observed the surroundings, I could see girls in lingerie walking towards some men who also had masks. They had smiles on their faces as they teased the men with their beautiful bodies, and after some small talk, they were walking in with them.
I stole a glimpse of Dylan, who had changed into a hoodie and was putting on a silver mask that looked like the facial features of a dragon.
His hoodie also had scale designs, and together with the joggers he had slipped into after I stepped out of the car, he looked like an otherworldly criminal.
He grabbed a briefcase from the booth, and he swung his hand towards me. I kept staring at him, his sinister aura slowly sucking out the confidence I had been putting out.
“Grab my hand."
I followed his instructions without thinking, and we began walking towards the entrance. As we approached the door, every lady who had stood at the door immediately retreated, the men going on their knees and keeping their faces pinned to the floor.
The security guards at the entrance immediately went on their knees, their guns positioned towards their backs.
"Superior Dragon, my apologies.”
Dylan didn't say a word; instead, he grabbed my hand much tighter and moved towards the door.
“Superior…” one of the guards stammered.
" Do you have a problem with her not having a pass?” His voice was cold, and the sensation felt like a knife to the heart.
I could feel beads of sweat slowly appearing on my forehead, and I could only pray that I would leave this place alive.
" I apologize on his behalf. He is new here, and he doesn't understand. Please forgive this underling that has made a grave mistake."
“He sure is courting death," Dylan said as he pulled out a golden pistol with dragon skin on it and aimed at the newbie.
“Forgive him, Superior!" They both bowed, planting their heads on the floor as Dylan c****d the gun.
“Forgive him." My voice came out weak, but he was able to hear it, and he immediately withdrew his weapon.
Without any hesitation, we began walking further into the building. I could see beautiful women scattered around every corner with loud music blaring everywhere.
Soon I could see poles, and the ladies dancing with the poles were so f*****g hot and experienced in the art of seductive pole dancing. I could only imagine what these men did after such meetings.
“Superior.” A lady emerged from the side as we walked past two poles.
She placed her hand on his shirt and pulled him towards her seductively. She had her tongue out, showing him her tongue piercing that kept a small pearl on her tongue.
" Don't you like what you see?” She said as she turned to show him her ass that jiggled with every move she made.
He didn't respond, and she satisfied herself, placing her ass on his body before grabbing his neck and going down on him.
"Can you just show us to the meeting room?” I blurted out unconsciously.
The lady halted her movement, her eyes fixed on me as she gave me a death glare.
“And who is this devil?"
