Amadeus carrying Amelia firmly with a happy Elise nearby, it's the perfect look for a couple, a handsome man carrying a woman that he likes. That is what Bran happened to see that night. While he was trying to muster her courage to go out again outside the village just to warn Amelia from that fateful night. Someone he likes so much that he would like to hopefully protect one day. Bran watches them as he walks closer to Amelia’s house. “What is this? Who is that man?” he said, as he slowly grits his fist. “But what about your family?” Elise asked. “I never met them, or I did when I was a kid, but they are long forgotten now, ” Amadeus said. “I grew up in an orphanage, ” he added. “I’m so sorry, we shouldn’t have asked—, ” Amelia said. “That’s okay, lots have happened after that. I’m here now and the now is what matters, ” he said as he smiled. “Stay always with us, you will never be sad or alone anymore, ” Elise said. “That’s an offer that is hard to refuse, are you okay with this Amelia?” Amadeus said. Glancing at Elise, it seems like the answer has already been made, she already made up her mind. “I’m supposed, we could need some help around, if you’re willing, ” Amelia said shyly. “Thank you for giving me a home, ” Amadeus said softly as he was breaking, but he quickly regained his stand. “Oh no, thank—, ” before Amelia could finish his sentence Elise yelled her lungs out. “Yes, Yes, Yes! He’s going to stay with us, Yoohoo, and he’ll be there to protect us, our own personal knight!” Elise cheering happily. Bran overhearing them with the perfect picture he already created in his eyes. “No, it should be me… I’m the one who should be holding and carrying you right now. I’m the one who should protect you, I f*cking ventured that forest for you, for power.” Bran said as he looked at the woman he loves. Taking another look at them, they look lovely, but someone is missing, him. Instead, they have this new guy, a much better, someone who looks strong, handsome, and capable. “And here I was going out of the village, risking my life trying to warn you. Heck if I care if a beast visits you all right now, ” Bran said as he gave a disapproving look to Amadeus from afar, disgruntling as he leaves. As the three get closer to their home, Amelia glances at Bran who is walking away. “Was that Bran?” She muttered. 'Bran? Bran? Bran?' “Did you say, Bran?” Amadeus asked. “Yes, he’s a sweet friend of mine, do you know him?” Amelia said as they entered their house. 'Bran, Bran! Who do you think you are!? I’m Bran please don’t kill me! hahaha! It’s coming back for a moment. I forgot what I am! A monster,' Amadeus thought as he entered his new home. —— [ Grisaia, Queen’s Chambers ] Queen Catherine is in her chamber sitting on the side of her bed, overlooking the light that is passing from the window. Her light blue eyes are worrying while her mind is venturing somewhere else. Hoping to get some answer in her memories. “No signs of princess Beatrice nor the one leading the escort, in Grearia nor in the path they took, ” the steward said. “But I’m afraid to tell you that the report shows that some of his men were slaughtered on the way, a place most old and wise called the fang forest, ” she added. “No signs of them. My daughter? Amadeus? Redard?, ” the Queen asked. “I’m afraid no, your highness. To hope that they are safe and alive somewhere, ” the steward said. “Thank you, Irelka. I will have to take a rest in my chambers, meanwhile sent a scouting party to search the whole forest and look for anything that can tell us where my daughter is!” the Queen said, trembling as she stands as if she was defeated in some ways. Sitting on her bed, hugging the pillow to her belly as she looks to where her daughter was sitting before she sent her out. 'It’s my fault, oh my sweet, sweet daughter,' she thought as her eyes are close to breaking. “Guards, ” she fiercely yelled out. The door opens, as the guard stands ready. “Your majesty, ” the royal guards said. “Prepare some men, we are going somewhere to get some answers, ” she said. “As you wish your majesty, I would also like to add, the Queen’s shield is back in the city as well as the Queen’s blade he wants to meet with you tomorrow, ” the royal guard said. A 6 foot 2 inches tall walk inside the chamber fully armored knight with its helm on. Wielding a war-door shield and a short sword to its waist, as he kneels in front of the queen offering her the utmost respect. “Your majesty, it’s the greatest honor to be by your side once more, ” the Queen’s shield said. “Ser Horengar of Grearia, you are back, ” the Queen said. “Always ready to be in your service, ” he said, looking at the Queen while he kneels. In the heart district of Grisaia, in front of The Lord Kristoff Brokensword mansion, where the Queen’s carriage destination is. Stopping at the gate, as the guards bang wildly on the metal gate. “It’s the Queen’s guard, open up at once, ” the royal guards yelled to the elegant gate, walls, and windows of Lord Kristoff. Three housekeeping stewardesses came rushing to the gate. “I’m deeply sorry, but Lord Kristoff is currently away, ” One of the stewards said “We are the Queen’s guard, and this is the Queen’s order, ” the royal guard said. As the Queen leaves her carriage accompanied by her Queen’s shield at his side, showing her appearance to the stewardess. “My Lord, Lord Kristoff specifically asked from us not to open the gate to anyone, ” She said, as she avoided looking at the Queen’s presence. “You dare defy the Queen? Open the gate!”  “Please… my Lord!”  Horengar has enough as he lifts his war-door shield aiming for the chains in the gate that prevents them from entering. With a quick and clean bang with his shield, clangings as it breaks. With a thudded sound the gate was open. While the rest of the royal guards hastily widen the gate for the Queen.  Queen Catherine Whitemaiden walks her luxurious long gown, standing tall to the stewardess. Glancing them with an irritated look, the stewardess can only kneel to the ground as they softly utter. “Your highness, ” The Queen replies with a disgruntled sound. “Search the whole premises, look for everything, cupboards, chest, dirt, clothes, papers, plans anything that can tell us what this sick Lord has been doing, ” The Queen ordered. “Your majesty, ” the royal guards said as they bowed. Without any delay, they rustled to search the mansion. While the Queen stands to wait with her daughter in her thoughts. With all the guards searching every nook, every corner of the house, they are bound to find something right? One of the guards came back to speak to one of the stewardesses. “Come with us, ” the royal guards said. There they found his library, with the help of the stewardess they managed to open the bookshelves' hidden mechanical door. “Men, with me!” The royal guard's captain said.  Quickly venturing the darkness, a basement, specifically a torture basement. “Gods, heaven!”  A various prisoner who was left to die with a different way of torture that laid before their ultimate death. They are dead, yet, you can feel the horror and hear their scream with their open mouths.  As they report to the Queen. “Your majesty, Lord Kristoff Brokensword is not to be found, we searched the whole place, and we found something, ” the royal guard said. “What is it?” the Queen asked. “A secret door, that leads to a basement.” “What’s in there?” the Queen said as she quickly ran. “Your majesty!” Upon seeing the opened bookshelves the stench of death was the first to greet the Queen. “What’s down there? Is my daughter?” the Queen asked, panicking. “We didn’t find her, your majesty, or any sign of the escort, ” the guards replied. As if not finding her here is much more of a relief than the opposite. “But your majesty, I don’t recommend going down there. It’s Lord Kristoff’s torture basement, ” he added. “What else did you find?” she asked. “We found this Queen’s insignia one from your scout, it seems like Lord Kristoff intercepted him for information, ” one of the guards said. One of the guards gives the Queen a bunch of signed letters. “It was from the rich families of Grisaia, they are the black-cross family, the Greatdane family, and the Ilicid family. They talk about rising for power your Majesty, ” he said. “I see, anything else that might tell us where he is?” the Queen said. “We will continue our search, your Majesty, I suggest we hunt Lord Kristoff down and arrest him for treason against the Queen, ” the royal captain guard said. “Prepare for that, hunt that sick—, ” before the Queen could finish her sentence. One of the royal guards came rushing. “We have Lord Kristoff at the gate, ” he said. — Alone in the gate, as he tries to get home, Lord Kristoff is apprehended by the royal guards. “What’s the meaning of this??” Lord Kristoff said as he struggled with the guards. Seeing more of the royal guards leaving his mansion. “Your filthy boots!”  With the Queen walking in front of him at her side is the Queenshield Horengar standing tall with all of them while Lord Kristoff is being restrained. “What’s the meaning of this, why are your filthy dogs in my house?” “Guards! Take him to the dungeon, ” The Queen ordered as she left to enter her carriage. “Dungeon? Preposterous! I wouldn’t dare set to your chambers—, ” Lord Kristoff said before he delivered ugly gasps from being bashed in the back of his head by the Queenshield. Short and ugly gasped before he fell on the dirt losing consciousness.
