My hands are shaking as I walk into the foyer and toward the elevator. All I can think about is the way the man with emerald eyes watched me so intently as if he were studying every single move I made or the way my chest heaved with each breath I took. Whatever I did, he watched me as if his life depended on it.
The only person I can think of as to who it may be is the hunter coming back for revenge because it would make sense. I helped River escape seconds before being killed and now the hunter wants to make sure he can capture River again to finish the job he started. It's the only logical explanation I can think of.
