Destined

Coming Back Home

 Jake Lancaster, the future ruler of the Fire Kingdom is about to meet her destined. After spending the last six years in London, Jake was not ready to come back home. He never wanted this marriage, he doesn`t even know her but it was his destiny to marry her.  Since he was a child, his mother told him that one day he will find his mate and he will love her more than anything in his life. He couldn´t accept the idea of spending his immortal life with only one woman. He was a player and women were his toys. 

Taking a deep breath he started walking to the door when he opened it,  his brother Logan was waiting for him. Logan had a smirk on his face. He knew his brother, but that didn´t stop him to make fun of him.

- Come on little brother, what´s going on? Logan said with a sarcastic tone.

-What´s going on? stop mocking me! Jake said looking at his brother like he was about to kill him. His brother was lucky he thought, at least he has not found his mate yet, so he can keep enjoying his life.

- I talked to our mother, and she said Rachael and her family will be there.

- I think my mother needs to take care of her own business.  Jake said getting his travel stone.

- You know that she has been waiting for this day since you were born. Come on brother! How bad it can be?

-How bad it can be? I will have to get married to Raquel and I do not even know how she looks, or what kind of person is, or even better, how about if she is not even my mate.

- That' s impossible.  Logan said shaking his head in disagreement with his brother 

The prophecy says that his brother´s destined mate will be part of the fire kingdom as well.  Everyone knew that Raquel was Jake´s mate.  There was no way they could be wrong. She was raised in a wealthy family, elegant, and beautiful. Even though she was selfish and egocentric, she has always proved that her ability to control fire was as good as jake´s ability. 

- Do you know what? I am tired of my mother trying to control everything in my life. If Raquel is my mate, fine, I´ll deal with it. I am a twenty-four-year-old man, if my mother thinks she can manipulate me, she is wrong. 

- What are you going to do bro? ignored her? that woman is difficult to deal with.

 Logan said looking his brothers as he was crazy if he thinks he can win this battle. Their mother was a determined woman if she wants something from her sons, she always gets it. 

- NO, I will meet Raquel and her family, but after that, I will be leaving for New Orleans.

- Our mother will never allow that and what about your mate?

-She is not my mate!

-ok, ok, ok calm down. so what´s your plan?

- You´ll see brother. Jake said with a smirk on his face. Let´s go logan, we are coming back home.  Jake took the travel stone and transported him and his brother to home

-This is going to be a disaster.  logan whisper to himself. He knew his brother and when he goes against their mother wishes, a war was coming. Coming back home will be a real disaster.
