(Aurora's POV)
"I'll get you for the last time!" Jack said while holding Titus in a chokehold.
"You could try." Titus flipped Jack over to the floor and placed his foot on his neck.
"Titus, STOP IT. What the f**k!" I yelled at the two idiots. Titus stepped back, and Jack got up. "Sorry, Aurora. Erin, let's go and give them a chance to talk." Oh, we will be doing more than just talking.
"Aurora, listen--" Titus said. I was pissed. I immediately stopped him.
"No, you listen," I shouted. "Why do you keep playing with me, Titus? You say you care, but you don't?
"I do care about you, Aurora!" Titus said.
"I have developed some feelings towards you, and I have only known you for a short time. I feel this type of connection when I'm around you that I can not explain. You act like you're interested, but you leave, telling me to stay away from you??" I was fuming; I could finally express how pissed I was.
"You say you have developed feelings for me?" Titus blushed.
"Wait. I growled at Titus. I- NO, you do not get to me feel awkward; I'm still pissed at you."
"Aurora," Titus murmured. "I'm a very complicated person, and my life is everywhere. I will show you how much you mean to me if you give me a chance," Titus begged.
"How do I know that you won't just get up and leave again?" I said.
"Just let me prove it to you," Titus said. I turned around and faced the door, took a deep breath, and then faced back at him. "I don't know, Titus. I don't know if I can-"
"Just let me prove it to you! Whatever you want me to do, I'll do it." Titus said stoically.
"Anything?" I said with my devilish smile.
"I will do anything to earn your trust and give us a chance," Titus said, getting on his knees.
"Okay."
(A Few Days Later)
"Aurora, have you seen the boys lately?" Erin asked me.
"No, didn't you come to school with them this morning?" I said to her.
"I did, but I haven't seen them since," Erin shrugged. But then we heard gasps, and oh my god, when I turned around, I saw Titus in a cheerleading outfit wearing a pink wig with Jack and Danny. It took every ounce of my self-control not to laugh. "Aurora Armstrong!!! Will you go out with me!?" Titus shouted.
I felt like a dam broke cause I laughed hard. "This is just too good!" Erin said as she was taking pictures with her phone. I walked up to Titus. "I like this new outfit on you." I snickered. "It compliments your legs."
"If you like this, you should see me in a speedo." Titus winked. "So, is that a yes?"
"Please say yes!!!" Jack said in the distance from the hallway. "Don't make me go through with this again. I swear to the Goddess Erin that this will be the last time I cosplay!" Jack said,
"I wouldn't mind," Danny said. "I think I look good in pink."
Some of us laughed and groaned at him. "Yes, Titus, I will go out with you." I smiled.
Titus's face lit up like a Christmas tree, and I could tell that I made him happy. I returned home to take a shower for the date that Titus set up for tonight. He didn't tell me where he was taking me, but I was very excited about this date. I hope that everything goes perfectly. I styled my hair in a beautiful princess braid. I put on a lovely red satin dress with a floral pattern. I also put on my mother's earrings that I was allowed to wear.
I saw my mom and dad talking with Titus, waiting for me at the door. He was wearing an all-black tuxedo.
"Can I help you?" My father said coldly.
"Uh, yeah. I'm here for Aurora, sir." Titus said, standing his ground.
"Mom, Dad!! Stop! Meet Titus. He is taking me out on a date tonight." I said, getting between my parents and Titus.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," My mother smiled. "I believe you attend Avalon High as well?"
"Yes, ma'am, Aurora and I are in the same class," Titus said.
"Where are you two heading?" My mother asked. My father was silent; he had a face that could kill a man if possible.
"Aurora, I don't want you going out tonight." My father said suddenly, breaking his silence.
"Joesph David Allen Armstrong!" My mother yelled. My mom glared at him, and he sighed.
"I want her back home by 10 o'clock. That gives you two hours and fifty-five minutes. If she walks through that door any later, I will send you to hell personally."
I scoffed at my father. "Of course, sir, I will get her home."
"HAVE FUN!!" My mother shouted proudly.
Titus took me to one of the most famous restaurants in Avalon, The Atelier Crenn. "Titus, this place. It's almost impossible to get a reservation here; how did you get it?" I asked him in shock.
"I have my ways," Titus said, making me blush.
"Good evening, you High-- High- Hi. I will be your waiter for tonight." Said the young man; I looked at him strangely like he was saying something else. "Follow me, please. I will take you to your table."
The waiter took us to our table, and Titus pulled a chair up for me. "After you." Titus smiled.
"Titus, this place is amazing. Can we even afford a place like this?" I asked him.
"Aurora, don't worry about it. I have everything taken care of; let's focus on having a good night." Titus smiled warmly. "You look like a goddess, Aurora."
"And you look rather dashing in that tux, Mr. Black." We both laughed. "Titus, I want to apologize for my father's attitude earlier. My father can be intense."
"I don't blame him. I would be a lot worse if I had a daughter," Titus said.
"Titus, you want children?" I asked him.
"Of course I do. I want to have a little girl and a boy, one of each.
The waiter returned to take our orders, and he ordered a Filet Mignon and Marinated Ribs. I also ordered the ribs with great interest, which shocked Titus; he looked surprised. "I have to say, Aurora, you're the first girl I know to ever order ribs at a fancy restaurant. Something about messing up their lipstick and makeup."
"There's a lot you don't know about me, Titus. We all have our secrets, right?" I winked at him. "I'm not like most girls.
I enjoyed my time with Titus as I could be myself around him without the fear of being judged. I talked about myself the whole night, telling him everything. I didn't tell him about my sister; that was personal. Titus told me about his family and how they are close, unlike mine. I envied him having a stable, loving family.
"Ha, I told you I could eat all of these ribs. I'm no quitter." While looking at Titus, he was smiling. "What is it?"
"I want to take you somewhere. Come with me." Titus gave me his hand, and I accepted it.
"Wait, don't we have to pay?" I asked him while we were leaving.
"Nope, I'm friends with the boss," Titus said.
"I will not be on Police Ten 7," I said.
"I do not know what that is, but trust me," Titus smiled. Titus drove me deep into the forest and took me to a beautiful lake. The full moon's light was glistening on the water.
"Titus, this is amazing! How did you find this place?" I asked.
"My grandfather and grandmother showed this place to me. This exact spot is where he proposed to my grandmother. They soon had my father and then me. May they find peace in the embrace of the Goddess."
"Titus, I'm so sorry." I didn't want to question him about this Goddess he mentioned; I didn't know he was religious. "You must have loved them very much."
"I always will; now, let's go swim." Titus blurted out.
"Titus, are you crazy?! The water is dark and cold," I said. Titus then took off his tux shirt and pants. Titus was wearing nothing but his underwear.
"Your turn," Titus said seductively.
"Okay, but you have to turn around," I said; Titus nodded and turned around.
"Don't know why I have to turn around when I see you anyway?" Titus scoffed.
I had no idea what I was thinking, but I began undressing, ready to go swimming with Titus. This is f*****g insane, but I guess Titus brings out the crazy in me.
Titus turned around and eyed me from head to toe, and winked. "Let's go!" Titus jumped into the lake while I stopped. "What are you waiting for, Aurora? The water is just fine." Titus laughed.
"You're crazy, Titus Black!!!" I jumped into the lake, and it was freezing. "Titus, you're so warm." My body was frozen as soon as my body touched the water. Titus swam towards me, embracing me with his warmth; I held onto him, wrapping my legs around him and my arms around his neck. I looked at his bright blue eyes as they glowed in the moonlight. They were beautiful. Titus's finger traced my lips, I could tell what he wanted, and I needed the same thing. I was longing for his lips on mine, but he never delivered.
Rolling my eyes, I grabbed his neck and pulled him in for the kiss I craved. Sometimes a girl needs to make the first move.
