Ethan's cold eyes fixed on me.
"Though you're my blood sister, I feel nothing for you," he said flatly. "Celine is the one I watched grow up. She's my true sister in every way that matters."
His lips curled into a cruel smile. "If you apologize to Celine and promise never to bother her again, I might spare you—out of consideration for our shared blood."
I couldn't help but laugh at his audacity.
"How touching," I mocked. "You care so deeply for someone who isn't even your blood. Perhaps I should follow your example someday—switch your future children with those of your enemies. Let you raise your enemy's child while your own suffers in some rogue pack. Wouldn't that be poetic justice?"
