Chapter Fifteen “We need to move fast!” said Sarina. Brody looked at Sarina, who seemed much more recovered than he felt. The ringing in his ears echoed back to him as if the walls of the cave could hear it as well. Pointing to his ears, he motioned that he didn’t understand. “The babies are this way,” Sarina said. Finally the ringing abated and Brody followed Sarina, trusting that she knew what to do. “Make the change.” Brody did as she asked, taking in the breathless pain as his human shape shifted to that of his wolf. It was never an easy transition. The wolf, dominant in nature, wanted to be done with it as quickly as possible and as bones snapped and lengthened, elbows and knees broke to bend backwards, bones in his nose and mouth grew out from his former jaw.
