I sat waiting for Jackson to return holding the bag of peas to my cheek feeling the stinging burn dying down slowly I sat back against the couch relaxing my head trying to hold the headache back from raging against my skull damn that bîtch ripped my hair hard enough to cause a fûcking migraine what the hell did I do to warrant that behavior from her and what the hell did Jackson mean by what he said I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore closing them for just a minute I fell asleep.

I woke sometime later to soft touches on my face my memories came rushing back aww fûck I thought it was real my eyes flew open looking right into emerald-green eyes I swallowed hard " I'm sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep how long was I out for?" trying to sit up Jackson assists me as he spoke " you've been sleeping for a few hours I didn't see any need to wake you after the day you had" I nodded saying " I should get back to work give me five minutes and I'll be on the floor I just need to freshen up" I stand and turn to look at him when he says my name my heart rate increases I see the look on his face he holds my hand and pulled me back to sit as he said " Amethyst I don't want you to go back out to work the floor today I want to talk with you and I would like to propose that you stay here with me and we get to know each other more.
