Ultimately, it feels as if the person who was the true mastermind of the plot, King Fredrick of the Netherlands, will never face justice. Glen and Jason are both dead. My uncle is basically a broken shell of a man, whom ended up getting no worse punishment than the 10 lashes with the whip, and left hanging in chains from the ceiling all night. He was let go the next morning, and sent back to the Willamette pack.
I had Alfred subjected to 10 lashes on principal over what I considered his perfidious behavior the day he drove me to Willamette pack for the birth of Beatrice and Magnus. I felt he had been a bit of a jerk to me that day, nor had he been helpful at all in the events that went down. I no longer want Alfred as my Royal Beta, either.
