“Zanian, no don’t, she will kill you.” I was shouting and screaming at him, but it’s like he can’t even hear me. He just looked at me and mouthed, “I love you.” I watched him take the last two steps and my world fell apart.
Watching someone you love die in order to save many was not the way this was supposed to go. We had a plan.
I ran to Zanian’s side falling down next to him. “please don’t leave me.” I cried and begged, but it was too late. I looked up and saw Eliza smiling at me, “I told you fox, I will not have a fox and an outsider who knows nothing of being king rule this Kingdom.”
