The drive from Paris to Europa Park in Germany took just under four hours. Iris and Lucas traded off behind the wheel along the way. They arrived around noon, both still in good spirits. They found a hotel in the small town near the park, dropped off their luggage, and headed straight for the gates. Before the trip, Iris had heard that Europa Park was the largest theme park in Europe and drew enormous crowds. She had not quite believed it until she saw the line at the entrance with her own eyes, a line that stretched so far she could not see where it ended. She believed it then.
