"Are you ok?" Alarix asked, smoothing my hair out. Am I? I know I went into shock when Melanie told us. Now I want to spend whatever time we have, training and spending time with Alarix, not being sad or angry. I need to put on a brave front. If I break down, no one will treat me normal.
