Being aware of who I will become soon, I use an invisibility potion to hide. Even if it’s true, I don’t want a rumor that the soon-to-be Scepter has another lover. It will be worse if I will involve Aaron in all of that chaos.
The inn that the warrior-guard mentions to me is in the area where there are the least people. It’s the farthest from the castle. Even here in the capital, Aaron does not enjoy being in a crowd.
After disabling my invisibility, I enter the inn and walk towards the reception. But I haven’t approached the desk when I see Aaron about to climb the stairs. His back is on me and I automatically smile. I feel as if all my problems have been lifted just from seeing him.
With a smile on my face, I almost run toward him. I watch him open his door and he is about to close it
