So, I weep bitterly. He opens the stable door and is about to close the door on me when he glances back. There is a change in his expression and I am surprised when he runs back to me. He lifts me off the ground and kisses me long and hard.
I pull back from his kisses, confused, but with a little hope in my heart. “You are not going to leave me?” I ask, hyperventilating in both my tears and his kisses.
“I can’t anymore,” he says, caressing my face.
“Are you sure?” My voice is breaking. I wipe my tears but it continues to fall.
He kisses my tears away. “I am already so in love with you, that I won’t be able to leave you even if you ask me.”
I whine again. I hate this. “You just said that you don’t love me. That you only said that so I will make love with you.”
“I lied.”
